Wash out mouth thoroughly with water and spit the fluids out. Inhalation : Remove to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment. Lay victim down in a quiet place and protect him against hypothermia. In the case of breathing difficulties have the victim inhale oxygen. Arrange medical treatment. SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Extinguishing media : CO 2,dry extinguishing powder, foam. Water is not suitable. Use water spray only to cool nearby containers and structures exposed to fire. Special hazards arising from the : Carbon oxides, silicon oxides and traces of incompletely burned carbon and substance or mixture silicon. Advice for fire-fighters : Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn. Cool surrounding containers with water spray. Heating causes a rise in pressure, risk of bursting and explosion. Take container out of dangerous zone. Shut off all sources of ignition. Stay on upwind side. SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions protective : Use protective solvent-resistant equipment (for further details see section 8). equipment and emergency procedures In an emergency respiratory protection must be worn. Consider the maximum period for wear. A self-contained breathing apparatus can be used. Shut off all sources of ignition. Evacuate area. Warn affected surroundings. Environmental precautions : Do not empty into drains, ditches or rivers by using sand, earth, and other appropriate barriers. Maybe hazard to drinking water sources when very large quantities get into ground water. Inform the responsible authorities. Methods and material for containment : Use absorbent material to collect and contain for disposal. and cleaning up Pump off lager quantities into a suitable tank. Use non-sparking tools. Afterwards ventilate area and wash area with suitable detergent and rinse thoroughly. SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE Precautions for safe handling : Use closed apparatus if possible. If release of the substance cannot be prevented, then it should be suctioned off at the point of exit. Take precautionary measures against static discharge. Earth all parts which can be electrically charged. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. JEESPERSE HD Page 2 of 5
