All participants must comply with equipment and dress rules of Pony Club, specifically with regard to Saddlery, Helmets, Boots, Spurs and Equipment. Riders to wear light coloured jodhpurs, with T-Shirt or open Ratcatcher with sleeves. No Jackets, Vests or Ties. PCAQ rules apply for all equipment, regulations, including helmets and gloves. Saddle cloth, dressage saddle cloth and numnahs of any colour or style are allowed DISCLAIMER Neither the organising committee of any contest to which these rules apply, nor the PCAQ, accept any liability for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, ground, spectators or any other person or property whatsoever. Lead Line Ring: This ring is for GENUINE lead line riders under 10 yrs. If your child is riding confidently off lead they are not eligible for this ring. Riders AND Ponies competing in the lead line ring CANNOT compete in any of the open rings. 2. Beginners Ring: This ring is for GENUINE beginner riders of all ages who have limited hacking experience. Riders in this ring must not have competed off lead at either an Agricultural Show or Royal Show. Riders who compete in this ring are not eligible to compete in any other ring on the day.
3. Maiden Classes: Restricted to horses which have not won a hack class at an agricultural show (to be ridden in a snaffle bit only). 4. Novice Rider Classes: Restricted to horse / rider that have not won a Novice or Open Championship at an Agricultural Show or Royal Show. 5. Hunter Classes: Horses cannot compete in both the hack and hunter classes. Hunters/Show Hunters should have more bone and substance than a show horse and be suitable for carrying the rider across country. Plain brow bands, no ribbons. 6. DOGS NOT ALLOWED ON THE GROUNDS. 7. Showjumping Rules: It is the riders responsibility to present at the ring at the appropriate time for their selected height. Times are approximate and jumps will be raised when there are no more competitors presenting for current height. Riders can complete a maximum of 2 rounds at each height. Riders must leave the ring if eliminated. General Rules ALL NON PCAQ MEMBERS WILL NEED TO COMPLETE A PARTICIPENTS AGREEMENT PRIOR TO COMPETING; THESE FORMS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE NOMINATIONS OFFICE. Objections and disputes must be made in writing with a $50 fee to the Moggill Pony Club Committee within 1 2 hr of the event. The deposit will be forfeited unless the decision is upheld. No Cars and Floats are allowed onto Moggill Pony Clubs Grounds, Parking will be in the paddock on O Brien s Road opposite MPC grounds.
