The experience offers you an exclusive day with our expert photographer, Jason Brown within the historic and picturesque setting of Marwell zoo, and the opportunity to view from several public and restricted access areas creating great opportunities for taking unique photographs. The Adult Experience Day Itinerary: 9.00am Arrive and Welcome Meet our photography expert at admission to Marwell Zoo and walk to the Hall 9.30am Safety Briefing and Refreshments Over tea and coffee at Marwell Hall, you'll meet your Marwell guides for the day. You ll be given an introduction and safety briefing which is essential given the exclusive access you ll enjoy throughout the day. You will also have the opportunity to suggest areas you might like to focus on for your personal photographic development through the day. 9.45am Out and About The group will head out into the park and be guided around a variety of enclosures at a relaxed pace, giving you time to enjoy the animals as well as taking some stunning photos. Jason will talk through photographic techniques as you go, you will also get to enjoy some special access areas these may include Tigers, Giraffes, Lemurs, Rhinos... 12.00pm Lunch The group will head back to the Hall where lunch will be waiting. Sit down to recharge your batteries and discuss your morning session looking at the photographs from your day so far. 12.30pm Out and About The group will head out into the park again to finish exploring the zoo at a relaxed pace for the second half of your day, Jason will once again talk through photographic techniques as you go, enjoying some more special access areas on the way around the park in the afternoon. 2.45pm De-brief and Free time in the Park At the end of the day you'll head back to the Hall for the final time to look over your images and discuss your day. Though you'll be saying goodbye to your guides, the park will remain open and you'll be free to roam as you please within the public areas of the zoo until closing time- see below for times. *This itinerary is a guide. Marwell will endeavour to continue with the event but in the event that the day cannot go ahead Marwell reserves the right to cancel the day and offer another date as an alternative or in the event this cannot be accommodated Marwell will offer participants a full refund. Junior Photographic Experience Days Whatever your ability or interest in photography, whether you want to learn to take better photographs or simply want to learn about how your camera works, our Junior Photographic Experience Days are a must for all fans of wildlife photography aged 12-16 years, providing a unique opportunity to capture some spectacular images of Marwell s exotic and endangered species. The experience offers young people an exclusive day with our expert photographer Jason Brown in a wonderful location, and the opportunity to view from public and restricted access areas creating great opportunities for taking unique photographs. For this experience we ask that each young person is accompanied by one adult/parent, who will accompany their child on the whole of the experience.
