Please no idling in the drop off/pick up area Drive slowly in the gym parking lot and around the gym. These are side roads the speed limit is 25 MPH unless other wise posted Lost and found is emptied on the 28th of every month please make sure to check it for lost items before then November 21st-25th the gym will be closed for Thanksgiving and we will not have classes With the snow being here please make sure your children do not play in the snow berms along the building. There is falling snow there and it can be very dangerous. Food drive We re partnering with 2nd Harvest in donating food this winter to supply 21 emergency food outlets in Spokane that feed more than 1,000 people each month. Please, only bring nonperishable food items such as peanut butter, canned soup, cereal, canned fruits and veggies, etc... As an incentive, your child will receive a free pass to one OPEN GYM (regular AND pre-school) session for every 5 cans of food brought in. Thanks so much for helping us give back to our amazing community! We will have the bins by the front desk the month of November. Little gym make up is 10-11 am and big gym make up is 11-12:30 pm. Open GYM Preschool open gym every Monday and Friday 10-11 am ages 2+ $5 per child Big gym open gym every Saturday ages 7+ $10 per child per session. First session is 9:30-11:30 am second session is 12-2 pm. No preschool open gym on Nov.24th No regular open gym on Nov. 25th No classes November 21st-25th we will be closed for Thanksgiving As the cool weather comes in please make sure your athletes have pants, sweaters, and coats to leave practice in Athletes need to wear proper attire during classes. Gymnastics for girls is a gymnastics leotard with shorts over if they want, no shoes in the gym with hair pulled back. Boys should be in either a boys leotard or a tight shirt and shorts. Dancers should be in a dance leotard with to be tucked in, tennis shoes, and hair pulled back. All athletes should be lined up at the gym door ready to go when class begins. Please make sure that your email address is updated at the front desk and you are not unsubscribed to our email s Fitness GYM FIT Our very own Adana Harris, head coach of our girls hotshots team and owner of the gym, designed a fitness class for adults incorporating basics of gymnastics with strength training and conditioning. This class is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7:00 am for anyone ages 16 and up. Get your morning going with the gym fit class. Active Life Learning Preschool This month the letter was S! Right along with our letter s we have our Super preschool Stars! We still have spots left in our active life preschool. Active Life Learning (A.L.L preschool) is Dynamic s kindergarten preparedness class. We run 2 sessions daily. In our programs kids age 3-5 are getting prepared for kindergarten. There is a one hour gymnastics class daily included in the sessions. Stop by the front desk to find out how to register for this class! OPEN WORKOUT Haven t heard about the work out room yet. We have a workout room upstairs for you to use while your kids are in class! It is $20 a month for unlimited usage. The workout room is open anytime the front desk is open! You must be at least 16 to use the workout room without an adult present. 2 November 2017
Cheer Dance Dynamic All Stars First ALL star cheer competition will be Dynamic All Stars Cheer Youth and Senior the Jingle Bell competition in Spokane, competition teams are excited to announce WA on December 16th! that they are taking new members for this years competition team! If you are interested in competitive cheer then look no further then Dynamics All Star team! The youth team (ages 7-11) practices on Monday and Tuesdays from 7-9 pm. The senior team (ages 12-18) practices on Monday and Wednesday s from 7-9 pm. There is a tumbling and stunting class they do during practice. For more information stop by the front desk! Competition not your thing but you still want to do cheer? We have recreational cheer class on Monday and Tuesday nights! Recreational cheer classes start 5 years old. Check out the schedule and see what we still have available. Rec cheer classes have been growing and they are working on back handspring drills for tumbling and partner group stunting. Dynamic s Dance Academy offers ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop for a variety of ages and levels. We have ballet and tap as well as ballet and acro combo classes for the younger kids. All classes are an hour long! Whether you are an experienced dancer or just starting out we have a class for you! The preschool and beginning dance classes were dancing in fantasy land in October! They were using there imaginations to dance like mermaids, unicorns, phoenixes, and dragons among other creatures last month! Each dance class learned a Halloween themed routine that they performed for their families and friends the last week of October! Competitive cheer has been busy learning their choreography for competition season, which is just around the corner. The samples of their new uniform arrived, and they turned out great! Their first competition will be the Jingle Bell Cheer Competition in Spokane, WA on December 16th. More details on location and performance times will come out next month! Team gymnastics- JO and XCEL Dynamic was excited to have the opportunity to host a clinic for level 7 and up girls for Region 2 in October! We hosted over 100 athletes and coaches from around region 2 for the weekend for the super camp. They got to work with a lot of great clinicians and judges including Ludmilla Shobe who is a former Soviet National Team coach and coach of three time Olympian Svetlana Boguinskaia and Laurent Landi a former member of the French national team who has worked with Alyssa Bamann, Madison Kocian, Briley Casanova, Sophia Lee, and will be working with Simone Biles now as well! It was a great learning experience for all the coaches and gymnasts who came! Level 4 boys team getting in some good stretches and showing off there flexibility! Team reminders Just a reminder the gym will be closed from November 21st to the 25th. There will be no regular practice on those dates. There will be no open gym on November 25th. We will have extra practices on November 21st and 22nd from 4-8 pm. They are required for option A athletes. Option B and C athletes can sign up for the extra practices at the front desk. The cost is $25 for option B and C athletes. You must sign up for the extra practices by Nov. 17th. Option A athletes need to remember in order to remain an option A athlete you are required to do at least one private a month. The cost is not included in your monthly tuition and is $40 to $50 for a one hour session. 4 November 2017
