Mini Marquees A Mini Marquee is an affordable way for a group of friends or family to get together at the races. Each Mini Marquee is suitable for a group of approx 10-15 people. if your group is larger, you just book more minis (up to 5 can be joined). Kids Activities We ve got plenty to keep the kids entertained - with free admission if they re 17 & under, Kelly Sports, a Jumping Castle, Face Painter and more, we ll keep keep them occupied while you enjoy all the action trackside. Live Music It s not all happening on the track we ve got live music throughout the day to keep you in the groove.

Getting Here We are located approx 60kms north of the Melbourne CBD. By Car From Melbourne Take the Hume Highway (North Bound), exiting at the Wallan/Kilmore turnoff (Northern Highway). Continue on the Northern Highway until you reach Kilmore, turn right into Union St, and then right again into East St. From the North Take the Broadford/Kilmore exit off the Hume Highway, continue through Broadford until you come to Kilmore. Turn left at Union St, then right into East St.to Kilmore. By Train V-line trains operate frequently from Melbourne and Seymour and are an easy way to travel to and from the racecourse. Seymour line trains depart from Southern Cross Station and you will need to alight at Kilmore East Railway Station. Kilmore Racing Club will be operating a free courtesy bus to and from Kilmore East Station on the day. Times vary so please contact the Club on 03 5783 0700 for more details.

Terms & Conditions General Conditions Kilmore Racing reserves the right to inspect / search bags brought into or out of the Kilmore Racing Club. Persons gaining unauthorised access to the Kilmore Racing Club and / or the race track may be liable for prosecution. Patrons who cause a disturbance, or refuse to comply with requests made by Kilmore Racing Club staff will be evicted from the Racecourse. Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken into or out of the Racecourse by patrons. Smoking on the premises is only permitted in designated smoking areas and not within seating or enclosed areas. Customers wishing to bring personal items into Kilmore Racing do so at their own risk. The Kilmore Racing Club will not be held responsible for any damages to, loss or theft of a patron s personal property. Unauthorised soliciting and customer surveying is not permitted. Kilmore Racing reserves the right to relocate any Marquee or Hospitality Package dependant upon the conditions. Refusal of Entry For the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, Kilmore Racing management reserves the right to: Refuse entry to any persons deemed to be intoxicated and / or disorderly Refuse entry to any unauthorised persons Refuse entry of items which have the potential to cause injury or public nuisance (ie large flags / banners, musical instruments etc) Liquor Licensing All persons entering Kilmore Racing are advised that: They are entering licensed premises, intoxicated persons will not be permitted to enter Persons in possession of liquor will not be permitted to enter Checking procedures will apply to prevent persons possessing liquor from entering Intoxicated persons will be removed from the premises It is an offence for minors to purchase and consume liquor It is an offence to purchase liquor for (or supply liquor to) minors Persons supplying liquor to minors will be reported to the Police and penalties apply under the Liquor Act 1982. Restricted/Prohibited Items The following restricted/prohibited items are not permitted into Kilmore Racing: Glass Personal BBQ s Pets Alcoholic beverages Market Umbrellas Shade Structures Flares/Fireworks Laser Pointers Knives or other dangerous weapons Balloons Notice of Filming & Photography Please be aware that official photographers operate on course. When you enter the Kilmore Racing Club, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. By entering the event, you consent to interview(s), photography, audio recording, video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by Kilmore Racing and its affiliates and representatives. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote similar Kilmore Racing events in the future, highlight the event and exhibit the capabilities of Kilmore Racing. By attending the event, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. RVL Photography Policy A person may only take images of activities at the racecourse for personal use only and must not make available any images for commercial exploitation, sale or distribution by any person unless accredited by RVL. Where the Club or the Stewards reasonably suspect that images are being taken for non-personal use, the person taking the images will be liable to immediate removal from racecourse at the direction of the Club or Stewards, with follow up of these actions to be heard at a RAD hearing. Booking Policy (Packages) For all bookings valued at less than $500 payment is required in full to secure your booking. For all bookings valued at over $500 a 20% deposit is required to secure your booking with the remaining balance to be paid in full 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the event. Failure to pay the balance may result in your booking being released to market and no refund of deposit will apply. Bookings requested within 14 days of the event will require payment in full at the time of booking. Confirmation of Numbers and Dietary Requirements Confirmation of guest numbers and any dietary requests needs to be made at least 14 days prior to the event. Pre-purchased Drinks Packages Pre-purchased Drinks Packages (Corporate Marquees and Trackside) All pre-purchased drinks packages start from 15 minutes before the first local race to the jump of the last local race. In line with Responsible Service of Alcohol best practice, Kilmore Racing reserves the right to refuse service to any person who is considered intoxicated. Clients are instructed that alcoholic beverages are not to be served to guests under the age of 18 years, or to guests in a state of intoxication. If a person is in breach of the liquor licensing laws they may be removed from the Racecourse. Behaviour guests are required to have regard for the amenity of the facilities and the enjoyment by all guests. Any breach of acceptable behavioural standards will result in removal of guests from the facility. Refund / Cancellation Policy (Packages & Admission) If for any reason a booking is cancelled the following conditions will apply: Cancellation more than 7 days prior to the event - 25% cancellation fee applies (loss of deposit) Within 7 days of the event No refund applicable unless the package is able to be resold If for any reason a race meeting held at the Kilmore Racing Club Racecourse is cancelled the following conditions will apply: º º If the cancellation takes place after a race has been run for any reason, no refund of any type will be made. º º If the races are cancelled prior to a race being run and the racecourse is closed down, a full refund (entry ticket & packages) will be available for up to 14 days preceding the race meeting on return to the club of your receipt of ticket purchase (ticket stub) unless the point below is enacted. º º Should the club decide to continue with running a phantom race meeting (definition below), refunds on ticket entry only will only be available providing you take your ticket stub or proof of purchase to the Racing Office within 90 minutes of the race meeting being cancelled (no refund on packages will be available when a phantom meeting is conducted). Phantom Race Meeting Definition A phantom meeting is when there are no horse races, or no further races being held on site, however the course and its facilities remain open and operating to all patrons for the duration of the day. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT TO INFORM ALL RELEVANT PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THEIR BOOKING OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
