Your Invitation We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to become part of the Academy @ Clevedon Town FC. 3 hours of elite coaching per week and a games programme in line with Premier League Academies will be provided for players who have the potential to meet these standards. Our coaches are contracted to Premier League Academy professional football clubs or Football League Centres of Excellence, including several former professional players. Our Objective: To help you achieve the true potential of your ability.. This may lead you to a professional football club However, we must stress we cannot promise you this will be the outcome. Why this programme? Players need more than just talent to succeed at a Premier League Academy. They must have commitment, self- discipline and unshakeable determination. Inevitably it is only a small number of players who make it to play at the very top level This initiative is designed to provide an opportunity for the best available talented youngsters to work with coaches involved with Premier League Academies to enable them to reach their full potential Training is a demanding experience, with a player's progress being closely monitored at every step. Meeting those demands has its rewards and whether youngsters make it into the first team or not, training at the Academy @ Clevedon Town is an experience that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. Supporting the physical, medical, education, emotional and social needs of the players Every endeavour to support members in their academic and life-skills needs as well as their football development.

The Strategy Academy Meeting the needs of players whose ability & understanding have outgrown the provision provided in the Development Programme. Provide a games programme against their peers involved with professional football clubs to enhance this understanding and growing ability. Development Providing players of all ages an opportunity to experience a professionally structured coaching programme & meeting the needs of young players at the various stages of Their Development. Creating a pathway into the Academy structured course and equally providing a programme of continuity for players from the Academy Programme.

The Strategy (continued) Meeting the needs of players when they need this support. Removing undue pressure. Accepting players will reach either an overload of information or require new challenges that will at times, require their needs being met in a more appropriate environment. Coaches equally to ensure targets, expectations are realistic and achievable for the players current ability & understanding. Helping players to understand the benefits of self responsibility aid achieving: personal goals, building confidence, self worth and a respect. Promote a better understanding and benefit of a Winning Mentality to that of Winning at all Costs Provide a positive environment to support a positive & productive mentality.
