ATHLETE NOTES: Registration: Thursday June 21 from 4:00pm 6:00pm at Valley Preferred Cycling Center *request for late entry will be at race directors discretion and a late fee of $50 WILL be enforced Rider Meeting: Friday 9:00am near results boards on the infield of the track Event Schedule: Event schedule may be adjusted Thursday evening based on registration data it is the RIDERS RESPONSIBILITY to review the most updated schedule on Friday AM Start Lists: Start Lists are posted on the boards in the infield it is the RIDERS RESPONSIBILITY to review start lists at the beginning of each session and alert the Race Director if there is an error or omission. If the rider fails to alert the Race Director prior to the start of a race they may not be permitted to start. Participation: The maximum number individuals in any mass start event will be set to 36 riders Pro-Am evening races: Entry into non-uci Pro-Am evening races will be based on a first come first serve basis up to 36 entries with a wait list of eligible riders to fill in for any riders who scratch Mass Start Staging Protocol: Prior to mass start races we will stage riders 2-abrest on the far left of the warm down circle leading to the front side of the track. PLEASE cooperate with officials by lining up only 2-abrest and ensuring you leave space for riders leaving the track to safely pass. Age of Competitors: Participation in Elite Categories shall prioritize riders aged 18 and over* Junior Categories shall be open to riders with a racing age of 15-18, with no gear restriction ALL Junior athletes MUST have a UCI license to compete *Category 1 or 2 Juniors who are racing the Junior category may also be permitted to race Elite UCI category if space allows Awards: When possible (as long as final race results are available) the winner of the race will be presented with flowers on the home straight directly following the event they won.

Timing/Scoring: Phoenix Sports Technologies Fred & Hilda Patton Transponder use: No Rules and Regulations: The rules of this Tournament will be conducted in accordance with the latest Track Rules and Regulations of the International Cycling Union (UCI) under Class 1 event. In case of disagreement in the translation of the rules, the English text shall prevail. Any unforeseen cases not covered in the regulation shall be dealt with accordingly: General issues: Resolved in accordance with UCI and USAC Penalty: The UCI penalty is the only one applicable. Uniform/Team Jersey: Competitors must wear their National/Club competition jerseys under the UCI s apparels regulations. Equipment: Equipment used in cycling competitions MUST comply with Chapter 3 of Part I of UCI rules and regulation. All participants shall ensure that his or her equipment (bicycle with accessories and other devices fitted, headgear, clothing, etc.) does not by virtue of its quality, material or design, constitute any danger to him/herself or to others. All equipment shall be checked by the commissaire before each event. Anti-Doping Control: The UCI Anti-Doping Regulations are entirely applicable to the event. All athletes are required to comply with USADA officials and chaperones if they are present. Insurance: All participants (include but not limited to team officials, riders and their assistants) are aware that they bear their own responsibility for any injury, accident and/or lost that may occur during their time at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center taking part in this Tournament. Participants should take up a properly insurance before leaving their country in order to protect themselves against any lost and to indemnify themselves against any claims.
