4. FIRST AID MEASURES Description of necessary measures according to routes of exposure Ingestion: Eye: Skin: Inhaled: First Aid Facilities: Advice to Doctor: DO NOT induce vomiting. If a significant volume has been swallowed, get medical attention immediately. Hold eyelid open and flush with copious amounts of clean water for at least 15 minutes or until all contaminants are washed out completely. Seek medical attention if irritation develops or persists or if visual changes occur. Remove contaminated clothing and launder before re-use. Wash contaminated skin with copious amounts of soap and clean water. Discard internally contaminated items, like gloves and footwear. Seek medical attention if irritation develops or persists. Inhalation is not an expected route of exposure. If respiratory irritation or distress occurs remove the source of contamination and move the affected person to fresh air. Allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. If the victim is not breathing, apply artificial resuscitation and seek urgent medical attention. In serious cases of over-exposure, seek immediate medical attention. Normal washroom facilities are generally suitable. It is recommended that an eyewash station be available and ready for use. Treat symptomatically. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Suitable Extinguishing Media: Protective Equipment for Fire Fighters: Fire/Explosion Hazard: Decomposition or Byproducts: Dry chemical, foam, carbon dioxide. Self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing should be worn in fighting large fires involving chemicals. Determine the need to evacuate or isolate the area according to your local emergency plan. Use water spray to keep fire exposed containers cool. Product will burn under fire conditions. Formaldehyde, oxides of carbon, silica (crystalline). 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES: Spills: Disposal: Spillages are slippery. Avoid accidents, clean up immediately. Personnel involved in cleaning up any spills are to wear protective equipment to prevent skin and eye contamination and inhalation of vapours. Cordon off the spillage area. Isolate the source of the spillage or leak. Contain using sand or soil. Prevent run off into drains, sewers and waterways. Advise local authorities immediately if release into sewer and/or waterways is expected to have occurred. Absorb with an inert absorbent seal in properly labelled containers for disposal. Rinse the area clean with detergent and excess water. Dispose of in accordance to Federal, EPA, State and Local Regulations. Disposal into sewer system is not permitted. Page 2 of 6 7 th

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling: Storage: Storage Temperatures: Use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid contact with skin and eyes. Maintain good standards of personal hygiene when using this product i.e. washing hands prior to eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet facilities. Keep containers closed when not in use. Avoid breathing mists/vapours/spray. Combustible Liquid, will not burn unless preheated. Refer to AS1940 Storage and Handling of Flammable and Combustible Liquids. Store in a clean, dry, well ventilated place out of direct sunlight and away from ignition sources, oxidising agents, foodstuffs and clothing. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Inspect regularly for deficiencies such as damage or leaks. Minimum 50 C Maximum 25 C 8. EXPOSURE CONTROL Occupational Exposure Limits: Biological Limit: Engineering Controls: Respiratory Protection: Eye Protection: Hand Protection: Body Protection: Name mg/m³ ppm mg/m³ ppm TWA (STEL) (STEL) (TWA) (TWA) Footnote Tributyl phosphate - - 2.2 0.2 No biological limit allocated. Where engineering controls are indicated by use conditions or a potential for excessive exposure exists, the following traditional exposure control techniques may be used to effectively minimize employee exposures: general area dilution/exhaust ventilation. If engineering controls are not effective in controlling airborne exposure then respiratory protective equipment should be used suitable for protecting against airborne contaminants. Final choice of appropriate breathing protection is dependant upon actual airborne concentrations and the type of breathing protection required will vary according to individual circumstances. Expert advice may be required to make this decision. Reference should be made to Australian Standards AS/NZS 1715, Selection, Use and maintenance of Respiratory Protective Devices; and AS/NZS 1716, Respiratory Protective Devices. Safety glasses with side shields, goggles or full-face shield as appropriate recommended. Final choice of appropriate eye/face protection will vary according to individual circumstances i.e. methods of handling or engineering controls and according to risk assessments undertaken. Eye protection should conform with Australian/New Zealand Standards AS/NZS 1337 Eye Protectors for Industrial Applications. Wear gloves of impervious material. Final choice of appropriate gloves will vary according to individual circumstances i.e. methods of handling or according to risk assessments undertaken. Reference should be made to AS/NZS 2161.1 Occupational Protective Gloves Selection, Use and Maintenance. Suitable protective work wear, e.g. cotton overalls buttoned at neck and wrist is recommended. Chemical resistant plastic apron is recommended where large quantities are handled. Page 3 of 6 7 th
