Type 4 suits are designed provide the workers with a high level of protection against hazardous dusts/particulates and sprays of certain liquid chemicals, for example in decontamination showers and infection control. Type 3 suits are designed to provide workers in both industrial and Emergency Response environments with a high level of personal protection against a broad range of industrial chemicals and other agents found in Civil Emergency situations. Emergency Response personnel have unique needs from the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) they wear which are different from industrial workers: + they are in emergency rather than routine situations + there may be a wide range of hazards against which they need protection + they do not use the PPE everyday. 3M JS-Series CRPS Features There is no compromise on fi t or comfort thanks to the purposedesigned suit and turbo combination system. The loose-fi tting hood design provides full coverage and protection without the need for a tight-fi tting facepiece meaning that the suit can be used by people with facial hair, face-fi t testing is not required, training needs are reduced and there is a reduced sense of claustrophobia.
