THE ROBINSONS FRUIT SHOOT SKILLS TOUR HEADS TO LAKESIDE THIS SUMMER Learn amazing skills with the Fruit Shoot Skills Crew at Intu Lakeside from Friday 8 th Sunday 10 th August from 10am London, Monday 28 th July 2014 Hop on your BMX, grab your skipping rope or dribble your basketball to Intu Lakeside as the Robinsons Fruit Shoot Skills Tour heads to Essex next weekend. Kids will have the opportunity to take part in interactive skills sessions with the Fruit Shoot Skills Crew and watch them perform incredible tricks. The nationwide shopping centre tour invites kids to show off some of their own talents, learn new skills and watch members of the Fruit Shoot Skills Crew in action. The formidable Fruit Shoot Skills Crew are a team of skilled professionals who take street skills to the next level as they inspire kids to enjoy physical exercise, learn new skills and get active. At each stop of the tour, kids will receive expert coaching from select members of the Fruit Shoot Skills Crew, as they share their impressive skills. From football to street dance, gymnastics and anything in between all active skills are counted. The Robinsons Fruit Shoot Skills Tour will be visiting the following destinations: Intu Braehead: 19 th - 20 th July Intu Metrocentre: 25 th - 27 th July Intu Trafford Centre: 1 st - 3 rd August Intu Lakeside: 8 th - 10 th August In addition to the tour, this August will also see the launch of Fruit Shoot Get Your Skills On, a brand new series featuring the super-skilled Fruit Shoot Skills Crew, celebrity guests and musical performances from top UK acts. The magazine-style show will attempt an incredible series of GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS titles, feature hilarious pranks and showcase the talents of some of
the UK s most exceptional kids, as they compete to win a coveted Fruit Shoot Skills Award and will be presented by the Fruit Shoot Skills Crew. Viewers can watch Fruit Shoot Get Your Skills On every Saturday from 9 th August at 9am on Nickelodeon. The tour and TV show form part of the Get Your Skills On campaign, which aims to encourage kids and their families to get active together and learn a whole range of modern skills this summer. As part of the campaign, Robinsons Fruit Shoot is also giving parents the chance to win a skills playground for their local area, giving even more children across the country access to the latest playground equipment. As an accomplished freestyler, Drew has developed some of the most incredible basketball tricks and complex routines currently on the basketball freestyle circuit. MC Zani - Beatboxer Host Beatboxer MC Zani is the new host of Fruit Shoot Get Your Skills On. MC Zani won the UK Beatbox Champion title in 2008 and was a World finalist in 2012. Equipped with his supreme beatboxing skills MC Zani can create his very own soundtrack with the power of his voice.
Connor Boost - Urban Gymnast Connor is the powerhouse of the Crew. As an urban gymnast he combines his incredible acrobatics with his free running skills. Connor is passionate about his discipline and puts his all into every move. Matti Axel - BMX Flatlander Matti is a professional Flatland BMXer and Guinness World Records title holder competing in competitions across the world. Flatlanding - the break dance of BMX is all about pushing the boundaries of what s possible on two wheels with perfect balance and fluidity. B-Girl Issie - Street Dancer Gymnast Having trained as a gymnast, Issie puts her own stamp on dancing by incorporating twists, jumps and moves that seem physically impossible. Street dancer Issie is also new to the Crew, her ability to perform ten backflips on the spot in less than ten seconds is one of her many impressive tricks.
