Rules and conditions 1.This show is affiliated to the BSPS and all persons entering, competing, showing or otherwise taking part in the BSPS classes whether or not members of the BSPS are subject to the constitution and rules of the BSPS including disciplinary procedures, and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the BSPS. 2.Neither the bsps area 3b committee, nor any of its officers, servants or assistants shall be responsible or accountable for any loss, injury or damage to any person, animal or property in connection with this show. 3.Each exhibitor shall abide by and accept as final the decision of the judges, referees, chief steward and officials of the show. 4.The judges in the schedule have accepted our invitation to judge, but the committee reserve the right to appoint substitutes if necessary. 5.No exhibitor may knowingly show a pony under a judge in circumstances that would constitute a breach of rule 486 by the judge. 6.Any pony taking part in classes judged under BSPS rules will be liable to dope testing. 7.Entries will not be accepted without the appropriate fee. sae. must be submitted with entries if a receipt is req. and for numbers to be sent out. Cheques payable to BSPS Area 3BLtd NO ENTRIES BY PHONE. 8.No Refund of entries will be made, except in the event of unforeseen cancellation of the show, when a 7 levy per entry will be made to cover administration costs. 9.All trophy winners must sign for the Trophy and agree to return it when requested., in a clean condition. All breakages will be charged for. 10.In all classes correctly secured British Standard skull caps/riding Hats that meet current safety standards MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. BSPS Area3B (White Rose County Show) accepts no responsibility for any injury arising from a failure to comply with this regulation. 11.Owners & riders must be BSPS members and the pony registered with BSPS to compete in the classes with qualification for the RIHS. For the Anglo and Part bred Arab classes animals must be registered with the AHS. see Rule 522. Qualification for the BSPS Championships This show is a qualifier for the 2017 BSPS Championship show. 1st & 2nd prize winners in the following classes :- Open l/r. Open f/r. Open S/P. Open Nursery, Open SHP. 1st 2nd & 3rd in the Open Cradle, Open Intermediate classes & Mixed Height Int. Heritage Mountain & Moorland. 1st to 4th in the Mixed Height Classes Ponies placed 1 st in the Heritage M&M Open classes will qualifyfor the B.S.P.S. Industrial Salt Supplies WOW Factor (Winner of Winners) BLUE RIBAND QUALIFICATION The first and second place ponies in the following RIHS qualifying classes will also qualify for the BSPS BLUE RIBAND PONY OF THE YEAR, to be held at the BSPS Summer Championship show: Open leading rein and first ridden/; Open SP classes; Open SHP classes, and Open ISRT and Intermediate Hunter. Premier League qualification This show is a qualifier for the Premier League competition to be held at the BSPS Championship Show. 1st 2nd 3rd & 4th placed ponies in the Premier League classes will qualify. All other rules regarding premier league classes are as per the BSPS 2017 rule book. Classic Security UK Ltd Challenge This show is a qualifier for the Classic Security UK Challenge at the BSPS Summer Championships Show. Please refer to the BSPS 2017 rule book for a full list of qualifying rules. Black Country Saddles Best Rider qualification. This show is a qualifier for the Black Country Saddles Best rider competition to be held at the BSPS Championship Show. Please refer to the 2017 rule book for a full list of qualifying rules. British Show Horse Association Rules. This show is held under the British Show Horse Association rules. Horses must be registered with the BSHA and all owners, exhibitors & riders must be association members or have temporary membership with a day ticket. Riders must be 15 yrs of age or older. Registration numbers must be quoted on entry form.. The Open Hack, Open Riding Horse and Open Cob classes are qualifiers for the RHIS. If the first & second are already qualified then the third place will go forward. Horse competing at the RIHS and qualifying shows in Hunter sections of The Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain at their affiliated shows cannot compete in Hack, Cobs and Riding Horse classes at the same show, on the same day and vice versa. This does not apply to SHB (GB) Ridden Sport Horse classes. The three highest placed prize winners in all open affiliated classes will qualify to compete in the BSHA Classic Supreme classes at the National Championship Show in September 2017.The BSHA offer a Novice, Young Rider & Amateur rosette in each open class and a Champion rosette for each section. The Association will also award an Amateur Home Produced rosette in all Affiliated Open classes (with the exception of Open Working Show Horse, Ladies Show Horse and HOYS Hunter classes); the Cob rosettes have been kindly sponsored by TSG, Mr L Turley and the Maxi Cob rosettes have been kindly sponsored by Mr & Mrs E McCourt. The awards will go down the line; there is no limit on how many of these rosettes can be claimed in a year. DAY TICKETS Non-Members may purchase up to a max of 2 Day Tickets per exhibitor, per horse per season. A day ticket will allow entry into Novice, Amateur, Young Rider, Home Produced, Working, In Hand and open affiliated classes only, but will not allow entry into RIHS & HOYS qualifying classes. Horses registered on a day ticket do not require a JMB height cert. Competitors can apply for a Day Ticket by downloading an application form from the BSHA website. Class 72 is a qualifier for The SEIB Working Show Horse of the Year Final to be held at the BSHA National Championship Show. The two highest placed horses in the top five, not already qualified, in each Open Working Show Horse class, will qualify for the Final; no Horse placed lower than fifth will qualify. Rising Stars Any Exhibitor placed in the first three in Intermediate classes for Show Riding Type or Show Hunter Type may enter the Rising Stars class at the BSHA National Championship Show September 2017. No qualifying card is required. Sport Horse Breeding of Great Britain Rules. This show is a qualifier for the 2017 RIHS to be held at the All England Course, Hickstead 2017. All Hunter classes will be judged under the Rules of the SHB(GB). The Open Hunter weights, small, Amateur and Open Working Horse are qualifying events for the 2017 RIHS, and only horses registered on the 2017 show hunter register are eligible to enter. Registration numbers MUST be quoted on entry forms & owners and members must be members of the society. The two highest placed horses in the Open weights/small will qualify for the RIHS, no horse lower than 2nd in its class will qualify. The Three highest placed horses in Working Hunter & Amateur Classes the lightweight section, the 2 highest placed small and the 2 highest placed lightweights will qualify and in the heavyweight section the 2 highest placed middleweights and the 2 highest placed heavyweights will qualify. Owners, Riders and Producers of horses competing in SHB (GB) classes must be members of the society. Day Ticket = 30 (this entitles competitors to compete at a maximum of 1 show in the year it covers owner and rider membership together with horse registration for that show). If the class is a qualifying class for RIHS, in order for the qualification to be valid, application for full owner/rider membership and horse registration must be received in the SHB(GB) office within 14 days. Headwear - It is strongly recommended that competitors aged 18 or over wear Correctly secured Skull Caps/Riding Hats that meet one of the following current Safety Standards: All PAS 015; VG1; ASTM F1163 04a onwards; SNELL E2001; AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards. It is mandatory for competitors under the age of 18 to wear such skull caps or hats. In the jumping phase of working hunter classes the aforementioned skull caps/riding hats must be worn. 3

RIDDEN WORKING HUNTER HORSE Working hunter. A mare or gelding or stallion (competing stallions must have a white and blue ribbon displayed in their tail) four yrs old and over ex. 148cm(14.2app) to be judged in accordance with the rules herein set out. Grade A show jumpers and advanced Event horses are not eligible to compete in Working Hunter classes. All Other rules regarding Working Hunter Horse please refer to the SHB(GB) rule book for 2017. BSPA qualification for the RIHS. 2017. These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald and Piebald Association and are qualifiers for the Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead Tuesday 25 th July 2017. Classes will be judged under BSPA rules. Download from www.bspaonline.com. All horses/ponies must be registered and all owners and riders BSPA members prior to the show. Rider s age taken from 1 st January. Membership and qualification cards must be carried in the ring by competitors and produced as required for inspection or signature. Failure to do so will mean disqualification. Spurs may not be worn in any pony class. Ponies 153cm or under (Shetlands exempt) must possess a current JMB height certificate. All stallions must be graded and licensed by BSPA or hold a BSPA Showing Permit (contact BSPA for Stallion showing permit information) for 2017 and have a BSPA stallion ID card and wear BSPA Stallion ID Disc. No rider under 14 may exhibit a stallion in any class. No competitor / owner / horse may compete in this class or enter the ring without current 2017 Membership of BSPA and a RIHS qualification card. Qualification: 1 st place and the next unqualified competitor standing 2 nd or 3 rd qualify from each class. No competitor may qualifier from lower than 3 rd place. Highest placed Amateur and highest placed Junior in each class qualify for Amateur and Junior Supreme Championships Final to be held at the BSPA World of Colour Championship Show 2017 at the College EC., Keysoe, Bedfordshire. Cards to be shown and qualification signed in the ring. Irish Draught Ridden Classes These classes are affiliated to the Irish Draught Horse Soc.(GB) and only horses reg. with the IDHS(GB in the correct ownership are eligible for entry, registration nos must be stated on the entry form and entries will be sent to the IDHS(GB) prior to the show to confirm their eligibility. All competing stallions must be classified with the IDHS(GB) as RID(GB), ID Class 1 or ID Class 2 or Irish Draught Sport Horse and must display a red, white and blue ribbon in their tails. Riders of stallions must be 18 years or over. This show is a qualifier for the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) 2000 Challenge. The highest placed horse (not already qualified) from each class will qualify for the Final of the Blue Chip & IDHS (GB) 2,000 Challenge which will be held at the IDHS (GB) Annual Breed Show on 19 th & 20 August 2017 at Arena UK, Allington, Grantham, Lincolnshire NG32 2EF. N.B: A horse may only qualify for the Final once, regardless of the type or number of classes won, placed in or entered. Each qualifier will receive a card and a 10 voucher from Blue Chip. Qualifiers are required to complete an online form at www.idhsgb.com to inform the IDHS (GB) that they have qualified for the Final. In the Final, the Champion will be awarded 1,000 prize money, a trophy and a Blue Chip rug. The Reserve Champion will be awarded 500 and 3rd to 7th inclusive will be awarded 100 each. In addition, the highest placed Pure Bred Irish Draught will receive a trophy and 100, the highest placed 158cm (15.2hh) and under will receive a trophy, the highest placed Sport Horse will receive a trophy and 50 and the highest placed *Amateur Produced and Ridden Horse will receive a silver salver and a rug." Area Supremes (Plaited and Heritage). 3b Members to wear an armband Highest placed in each class are eligible to compete in the 3B SUPREME. Both Champions will qualify for the BSPS Best of the Best Championship Mini Supreme Winners of the M&M l/r & F/r, mini Premier league classes, Cradle & Nursery, Mini SP, Tiny Tots SHP & L/r SHP Winners eligible. 50 to winner Overall Supreme Champions from all other sections are eligible for this supreme. QUALIFICATION FOR THE NORTH OF ENGLAND 1000 CHAMPIONSHIPS. This show is a qualifier for the following championships at the North of England Shows If the Champions have already qualified, then the Reserve Champion will go forward. Only the Champion or Reserve will qualify (some exceptions) THE LEAVENTHORPE SUPREME MINI PONY CHAMPIONSHIP- Championship held at North of England Show in July 2017 The Champion Mini Open Show Pony will qualify. If the champion has already qualified the Reserve will qualify.
