FOREWORD Dear athletes / coaches / slalom friends, We are pleased to bring you in this season new Canoe Slalom series consisting of two races in Bratislava and week later in Vienna, both as a part of ICF ranking race series. Apart from medals in the individual competitions there will be prize money for the first 5 paddlers in each category awarded to the overall Danube Cup winners! The Čunovo Water Sports Centre is an artificial whitewater slalom course in Slovakia, on an island in the Danube river, 14 km southeast of Bratislava, near the village of Čunovo. It is powered by flow diversion from the Čunovo dam. There are two separated channels right and left, which could be combined into combination of the right to left. Nowadays left channel is used for slalom, while right channel is mainly used for a rafting. Since 1997, it has hosted a full schedule of local, regional, and international competitions, including multiple World Cup races, 2 European Championships and the 2011 World Championships and 2017 Junior & U23 World Championships. Please note the following deadline for the nominal entries: 13/07/2018 There is no limit for the number of boats per event per federation. During the week prior to race please come to the race office to check your entries.
ACCREDITATION The accreditation fee includes: Free training during the week prior to competition: 23rd 27th July Entry fee Lunch for Saturday and Sunday The accreditation fee: 105,- EUR/athlete The payment of the accreditation fee can be made by cash at the venue on Thursday 26th July or by bank transfer. For bank transfer please contact the Organizing Committee. All transaction costs are the responsibility of your NF. If your payment will be done by bank transfer, please, make sure that we receive the payment no later than 25th July 2018. A deposit for the bibs is 50,- EUR/club or federation.
