Age Divisions: Division Clover Kid Junior Intermediate Senior Ages Under 8 years old 8 years old and in 3 rd grade OR 9-10 years of agee 11-13 years of age 14-18 years of age Birth date between Sept 1, 2003 August 31, 2006 Sept 1, 2000 August 31, 2003 Sept 1, 1995 August 31, 2000 PLEASE READ THESE RULES VERY CAREFULLY AND FOLLOW EVERY STEP CORRECTLY!!! 1. Formatting the Photograph. Photographs should be taken at the highest resolution possible. Photographs must be in a.jpeg,.jpg, or.gif format. Files submitted may not be larger than 2,048k (2MB). There is no minimum size requirement, however, your photograph must be large enough that it can be clearly evaluated for the contest (i.e. if it is too small, it can be disqualified). 2. Labeling/Namingg the Photograph. Each photograph will need to be clearly labeled with the Age Division, Category, County, 4 H member s first and last name and the name of the category (see below for label name). Project Runway Workshop Basic Gathered Skirt Date: Monday y, March 9, 2015 (Spring Break) Time: 8:30 am to 4:000 pm Limit: 15 Youth Cost: Free 4-Hers will need to bring their own lunch and fabric! Skills Needed: How to thread a sewing machine, read a ruler, and use scissors to cut fabric Supplies needed: Fabric-approximately 3 yards (waist measurement times three), sewing machine, basic sewing supplies, thread to match fabric choice. The Extension Office does have a very limited number of sewing machines available. 4-Hers will learn how to draft a pattern for a basic gathered skirt, types of simple skirts, different methods for gathering fabric, hemming, and simple closures for skirts. Parents are encouraged to stay and assist. RSVP by March 2, 2015 by calling the CEO at 254-757-5180. 4-H ROUNDUP June 9-11, 2015 TAMU in College Station, Texas Overr 4,000 youth and adults attend the event each year; Roundup consists of approximately 50 individual competitive events. The majority of these events require each individual or team to qualify at the county and district level. More information to come! Don t forget about the Livestock Judging Contests!
