Cross hair style pins are allowable as fixed pin sights. Circle style pins are allowable (if circles are of one size). Must be shot 10. BHR F Female Senior Bow Hunter Release (21-49 years) A compound bow, recurve or longbow with or without a sight. If a sight is used, it will have fixed pins. Must be shot from the orange stake. 11. BHO M Male Senior Bow Hunter Open (21-49 years) A compound bow, recurve or longbow with a moveable sight, scope or laser sight. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers may be used. Must be shot 12. BHO F Female Senior Bow Hunter Open (21-49 years) A compound bow, recurve or longbow with a moveable sight, scope or laser sight. Any type of release aid, glove, finger tab or bare fingers may be used. Must be shot 13. F TRD Female Traditional (21-49 years A recurve or longbow with no sighting device. Must be shot with a tab, glove or bare fingers. The arrows will be of the same materials and in uniform length and weight. No stabilizers or counterbalances will be allowed. 14. M TRD Male Traditional (21-49 years) A recurve or longbow with no sighting device. Must be shot with a tab, glove or bare fingers. PWC Peewee Compound (9 years and under) A compound with or without a sight. 28. PWR Peewee Recurve (9 years and under) A recrve or longbow with or without a sight. Officials: To be supplied by the host community. Rules and Regulations: **Note: The safety of the shooters is of the utmost importance. 1. Archery Canada rules apply to all areas of competition. Maximum distances for stakes as follows: Orange 50 yard max. Green 40 yard max. White 30 yard max.
FBH (Future Bowhunters) Maximum shooting distance is 15 yards max. 3. When shooting, the shooter must touch the stake with a portion of his/her body. 4. Groups waiting to shoot a target, will position themselves a minimum of fifteen (15) yards away from the longest shooting stake of that target. Scoring 5. Scoring will be as follows: 1 st Arrow 20-18-16 2 nd Arrow 14-12-10 3 rd Arrow 8-6-4 6. Double scoring is required. Score cards will be collected at the completion of each course. 7. All scorecards must be shuffled and groups busted. A group with 3 or 4 friends or family members, plus an outside person is considered busted, provided that the outside person is one of the scorekeepers for the group. General Rules 8. Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated. Any action considered by range officials as unsportsmanlike will result in disqualification. 9. Under no circumstances will alcohol be allowed on the course. 10. No range finders allowed at the shoot. Anyone possessing a range finder will be disqualified and asked to leave. 11. Binoculars (hand held) will be allowed. 12. One golf size umbrella only, may be used at the shooting stake. 13. Any person in violation of the above said rules may be disqualified from that event. 14. Any shooter who ignores a shoot official s orders will be disqualified from the event. Registration Deadline: Registration Deadline as designated by your Regional Director All registrations are done through your Regional Director, who will determine the Regional Deadline. The registration fee must also be submitted to your Regional Director. Signed consent forms must accompany the waivers. No late registrations will be accepted. Events will be cancelled if there are one or less individuals or teams registered. Should any event be cancelled due to lack of registrations, the athletes being affected by the cancellation will be given an opportunity to re-register in another suitable category provided that event is scheduled to run.
