Paul A 1948 Black Stallion (Star Deck x Little Dixie Beach) by Orren Mixer Offered by Aubrey May Paul A, a 1948 black stallion by Star Deck and out of Little Dixie Beach, was one of the breed s first AQHA Champions. Paul A was the grand champion stallion of the National Western Stock Show, Southwestern Livestock Expo, Tulsa State Fair, Kansas State Fair, American Royal, Chicago International, and many more. He also traveled to the National Expo in Havana, Cuba by special inviation from the Cuban government. Paul A continued winning year after year and sired 11 AQHA Champions, 21 ROM and 6 Superior Halter horses. Paul A was featured in the Western Horseman Legends book, Volume 6. Paul A died in Houston at age 21 in 1969.

Red Wimpy 1955 Sorrel Stallion (Wimpy P-1 x La Queen) By Orren Mixer, commissioned by Rex Cauble Offered by Reynolds Moreland, III Red Wimpy, a 1955 Sorrel Stallion by Wimpy P-1 out of La Queen, was a Halter point earner and the sire of Halter and Performance point earners as well as $28,975 NCHA. This painting came from the Rex Cauble estate. The scene was painted from Rex's place in Crocket, Texas. You will notice the arena, buildings and other horses in the background.
