ECONOMIC CONDITIONS As approved by the UIPM, all delegation members (including athletes, coaches and officials) will pay as follows: Hotel Triple Double Single HOTEL ALBERGUE 107.00 USD per night 114.00 USD per night 120.00 USD per night OLIMPICO This fee listed above is per person per day and includes the following: Full board accommodation Local transportation Entry into the competition Entry into the Opening Ceremonies PLEASE NOTE: Four (4) athletes per gender per NF may participate. Rooms are limited and will be awarded at a first come basis. If there is a need for additional overflow, accommodations will be made at the same quality. Delegations are required to send by bank transfer, a minimum of 30 percent of the accommodation invoice by May 7, 2017 otherwise the reservation will not be guaranteed. Payment must be made in US dollars. PLEASE NOTE: We require fully completed Form C s by the closing date of May 7,2017. After receiving the final Form C and the nonrefundable 30 percent deposit, we will send you an invoice for the remainder of the total cost for your delegation. This must be paid by bank transfer no later than March 30,2017. Otherwise full payment will be due in cash only (US DOLLARS) upon registration. For your convenience and ours we request you make the payment by bank transfer. Bank information will be sent to the delegations after Form A is received. Nations wishing to arrange their own accommodations must pay an accreditation fee per participant (athlete, coach, or official) per day of $130 USD, which must be paid in cash at the registration desk upon arrival. TRANSPORTATION We will provide transportation from the Santo Domingo International Airport to the headquarter hotels only if flight information is provided according to the deadline on Form C. Federations arriving at any other airport will need to make own travel arrangements to and from the host hotels. Transportation from the official hotel to the venue for athletes/coaches will be provided starting June 7, 2017 according to the training and competition schedule. More details will be available upon registration. INSURANCE According to UIPM rules, all members of attending delegations should insure themselves in case of accidental injury or illness. The organizers will not accept any responsibility, financial or other, for any loss, injury, or illness of any member of the delegation. ENTRY FORMS. Delegations are reminded of the new Rule 1.15.3: If, on arrival for the competition, the team has less athletes and/or officials than listed on their Final Entry Form and without informing the Organising Nation/LOC at least 7 days prior to their arrival, the NF will pay a fine to the Organising Nation/LOC of 200 Euros for each person less. Following confirmation of the final entries, a NF must enter the competition with at least one pentathlete. Any NF failing to take part after having sent their final entries will pay a fine of USD 750 to THE UIPM. Entry forms will not be accepted if any athlete is missing his or her license number. Please contact immediately UIPM Headquarters if your athlete is missing his or her license. Teams have to present the licenses to the LOC upon arrival. If an athlete forgets his or her license, the athlete must pay a fine of 50 Euros to the UIPM TD/NTO and this fine remains the property of UIPM. If an athlete does not have a license and has not requested a license from UIPM, he or she will not be allowed to compete. 1. confirming their ability to ride: cannot compete in World Senior or Junior Championships nor the World Cup Final. may compete at World Cup competitions in the qualifications for the Final, but if they do qualify for the Final, they must relinquish their place to the next pentathlete who has the ability to ride. at all other events, may compete in all disciplines except the Riding. PRE COMPETITION TRAINING CAMP The Santo Domingo LOC will offer training opportunities for swimming, shooting, and fencing on-site starting June 6,2017. EQUIPMENT CONTROL Equipment control for fencing and riding will take place at the official hotel on June 6 and 7, 2017. The laser pistol control will be at combined area on June 8. Nations need to bring their laser pistols from 10 am to 12pm (noon), during the Jumping test. FIREARMS Firearms licenses are not a legal requirement when bringing air and CO 2 pistols (cylinders for the laser pistols) into the Dominican Republic for competition purposes. However, please note the pistol model and serial number clearly in your entry form. GENERAL ARMS INFORMATION All athletes are kindly requested to wear their official national uniform at the competition. Please also bring a CD of your national anthem and a national flag (192cm-by-128 cm). ).
