Hair, Make-up, Shoes and Accessories: Below is a specific list for each routine is this production for any questions please contact the office or see your instructorj GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL PERFORMERS: ü Costumes are of general sizing. All Minor alterations (hems, take-in strap, elastic etc.) are the dancers /Parent responsibility. ü A great place to purchase Tights, shoes etc: www.discountdance.com (use promo code ) or www.designsfordance.com (* Please note: bodytights may not be available in some youth sizes. Regular tights are just fine for the younger ones) ü Please keep costumes in garment bags for nicely organized in bins if you have multiple costumes. ü Some costumes have come with a hair accessory. The office is keeping them safe until recital week. From there your teacher will decided how it will be placed in your hair. ü Those with TNS rental costumes These items MUST be returned to Miss Jana after the evening recital. ü Make sure all accessories are kept together: zip-lock baggies are helpful ü PUT YOUR NAME ON EVERYTHING and Keep your items together! ü Bring a cover up for backstage! A bathrobe is perfect! No eating in your costumes. ü All costumes should be wrinkle free! DO NOT IRON! STEAM ONLY! The Steamer is your friend!! ü nude undergarments only ü No jewelry on stage. ü No colored nail polish! ü False eyelashes: required for all Company Dancers. Suggested for dancers ages 13 & up. ü Stage Make-up: Here is a YouTube tutorial that is helpful and is one that follows our studio s and Director s make-up guidelines as well! This can be difficult I know as we are in tight quarters, but we must avoid spills/stains! ü Quick change Dancers: if you need your hair done you MUST provide your OWN bobby pins, fine tooth comb, gel, hairspray and hair ties!
