Where work is adjacent to a public place and there is a risk of falling debris, a method of protection should be selected and: erected before the commencement of work, kept in position at all times during the progress of the work, and regularly inspected and maintained. Control measures to isolate the work from the public may include installing bollards, safety lines, barriers, hoarding such as security fencing, containment sheets, security mesh. All workers to be aware of Risk / Hazard reporting procedures and consequent safe work procedures i.e. stop work, assess, reduce and report. Person Responsible Delivery to site to loading dock.
