A Beauty Pageant or beauty contest is a competition that mainly focuses on the beauty of its contestants, although such contests also incorporate personality, intelligence, talent, and answers to judges' questions as judged criteria. The phrase almost invariably refers only to contests for girls & boys. Teens pageants focus on makeup, hair, gowns, modeling, and personal interviews. Possible awards include titles, tiaras or crowns, sashes, and cash prizes. In 2017, Teens of Pune organized by MS Events & Promotions pageant celebrating beauty, culture, and style of the City. The vision soon became a reality with the establishment of Beauty Pageant. The Teen of Pune Beauty Pageant will be the most prestigious pageants in existence today and will become a vehicle for personal development and promotion of cultural appreciation. MS Events & Promotions will produce high quality competitions that emphasize and will provide opportunities for personal development. Our pageant is decent (no appearance in swimsuits by delegates) and well organized and designed to offer something for everyone. It holds to the highest standards of integrity and conducts its pageants in a fair and unbiased manner. OBJECT OF THE BEAUTY PAGEANT? We have an excellent staffs who will guide you with their best ideas by keeping in constant touch with your company and informing about the market trends. A. WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE? Age: Between 13-18 years old B. CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS Entrant may not have a modeling, commercial tie-up, personal management and/or agency contract, such contracts does not allow to participate in this pageant. C. DETERMINATION All issues as to eligibility shall be determined solely by the Management. Contestants agree to abide by eligibility determination both as to his/her and others. Agrees to produce an original copy of her birth certificate to verify age. D. REQUIREMENTS Photography: Entrant must submit a headshot photo Cloth: Delegates provide their own competition attire if required. Travel: Delegates must make their own travel arrangements. The Management is not responsible for arranging travel to the venue for the pageant competition. Code of Conduct: Delegates are required to sign a Code of Conduct. Page 2

Certificate of good moral character given by my school, church or professional organization. 7. Two (2) photographs, one close-up and one full body shot. F. AREAS OF COMPETITION The Teens of Pune Pageant is a beauty pageant for all teens of Pune who are between 13 th 19 th years old. Areas of competition for the 2017 Pune Teen Pageant include: Jeans & T-Shirt / Sponsor (opening production round) (0%) Introduction Round (20%) Formal Wear (40%) Evening Gown & Suit (40%) Finalists' Question (Bonus Points) Opening Production Number (not to be judged) The Teens of Pune Pageant will include a choreographed opening number. Delegates will be provided Sponsors T-Shirt for opening number as specified by the management Information about the 2014 Opening Production Number. The Opening Production Number is not judged. Introduction round (20%) The Teens of Pune Pageant title holder must introduce herself which reflects her personality, confidence and smartness. The judges may ask some questions which will verify the truthfulness of the answers by the participants during the form fill- Page 3
up. The round is the simplest one and will be judged with the same outfit which will be provided by Sponsors. Formal Wear (40%) The Teens of Pune Pageant title holder must be able to project her own personal sense of style. This competition will be very much like a runway fashion show. Fashion cloth can be anything the delegate feels represents a currently popular or stylish ensemble. Judges will be looking for high energy, spirit, and the delegate's sense of contemporary style for today's woman. Delegates are encouraged to accessorize with earrings, head gears, etc. Accessories may be used as props for modeling. Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, grooming and fashion sense. Evening Gown / Suit (40%) The Teens of Pune Pageant title holder must carry herself with dignity, grace, poise and elegance. Judges will not be evaluating the cost or designer label of the gown, but rather how well it suits the delegate (e.g., fit, color, style) as well as delegate's on-stage presentation. Evening gown or Salwar suit must be good length. Judging criteria: modeling, personality, beauty, and grooming and fashion sense. On-Stage Question (bonus pts, finalists only) The Teens of Pune Pageant title holder must be able to express herself with confidence. Finalists will respond to a few questions on-stage to earn up to 10 bonus points which will be added to each finalists composite score. The question may be taken from information listed on the delegate's fact sheet. Judging criteria: Articulation, Quality of Response, Beauty, and Personality. Page 4
G. JUDGING INFORMATION JUDGES: minimum of 4 judges will evaluate delegates in the two areas of competition: Formals Cloth and Evening Gown / Suit. All areas of competition are equally weighted at 50% each. The management has sole discretion and complete authority to select judges. Reasonable efforts are made to secure a culturally and professionally diverse panel of judges. Judges' names are not released to delegates prior to arrival at the pageant. Contestants may not approach the judges or engage in conversation with judges prior to or during the competition. Who are observed approaching a judge or engage in conversation with a judge beyond a brief greeting risk immediate disqualification at the discretion of the management. Judges are provided with training and instruction regarding scoring procedures prior to the competition. The decision of the judges is final and not contestable for any reason. Scoring: Conducted on a 10-point scale: 9-10 = Excellent 7-8 = Very Good 5-6 = Good 3-4 = Average 1-2 = Below Average RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Entrant affirms that he/she is and will continue to be a person of good moral character. 2. That she has not committed and will not commit any act inconsistent with the highest standards of public morals and conventions or that will reflect unfavorably on the pageant, its representatives, sponsors and/or licensees. 3. That she has not appeared in nude or provocative photographs for any film or publication prior to, during the preliminary or pageant finals. 4. Delegate will conduct herself in a courteous, professional manner at all times during The Teens of Pune Pageant and while representing the Teens of Pune Pageant title. 5. Delegate will not slander or libel other contestants, judges, The management staff or anyone else involved with or connected to the Teens of Pune Beauty Pageant. Defamatory verbal and/or written remarks against the management Teen of Pune Pageant will result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any and all prizes and awards won, and legal charges. 6. Good sportsmanship is expected at all times. Disruptive behavior before, during, or after the pageant may result in disqualification, removal from the premises, and legal charges. EVENT SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES (What do sponsors get in return) 1. Receive VIP two tickets 2. Sponsor s name will be published on pageant Documents 3. Sponsor s name, logo and or trademarks displayed on promotional materials (Posters, Banners, Program Book, Delegates Forms, Gate Tickets, Event brochures and other special documents 4. Promotional announcement for sponsor s status as a sponsor on pageant program. 5. Sponsor s name on banner/board showcasing at event. 6. The contestants will make their opening number appearance in branded T- Shirts and Face caps of the major sponsor during the competition. However, Sponsor need to supply T-Shirts and Face caps. 7. There will be a Road Show Campaign activity for the Pageant through the major roads of Pune, aimed at creating the required effect and razzmatazz for the Beauty Pageant. 8. The officials of the Organization and other people involved in the road show will be dressed in T-Shirt and Face Caps of the major sponsor to create the desired effects. However, Sponsor need to supply T-Shirts and Face caps. 9. Improve your image as a 'good neighbor' 10. Increase your brand profile (More noticeable/brand Recognition) 11.
