Rules of Engagement Hits by BB to any part of the kit or body counts as a hit. Gun hits do not count as a hit. All grenades except smoke grenades are kills within 15 feet. Ricochets do not count as a kill. (NO MALICIOUS SHOOTING). Kill Rags are highly encouraged to show when you are out of play. Red Chem Lights for night games are MANDATORY. DO NOT ENGAGE MEDIA PERSONNEL. Real firearms and knives are not allowed during Combat Casual Events. Players can reload magazines while on the field (use caution and don t lose your gear). No Restriction on amount of magazines or grenades an operator can carry. Melee kills are silent, if hit you must raise your hand and or a kill rage and quietly follow protocol for downed players. To Kill with a melee weapon simply tap target with melee weapon or lightly barrel tap your target. Foam, plastic, or other boffer weapons are allowed. Check with staff if you have any questions. There is NO digging, moving, or modification of structures or terrain at Combat Casual Events, unless approved by William McCoy (Combat Casual). There is no damaging of event host and/or location property or assets. DO not yell CALL YOUR HITS or I KNOW I HIT YOU or anything relative. Simply approach from another angle or signal for an admin to monitor and resolve situation. Administration Channel is reserved for Staff, disrupting this channel will result in removal from event. Violation of rules or disruptive behavior at events can can result in dismissal from event with no refund. Eye and Face Protection must remain on at all times when on the playing field. Weapons must be on safe and magazines out when off the field. 2
Rules of Engagement (cont) What to do when hit? Yell hit and display red kill rag. Player s cannot shoot, or give hints about enemy positions when downed or dead. You have 3 minutes until you bleed out for medic. Bleeding out is for players to wait for medic treatment, not mandatory for every time when downed. You can receive medic treatment while walking back to spawn if you have already bled out. To be treated by teammate they must apply an Ace bandage and/or Tourniquet to a downed player s arm (Buddy Aid). Once done the downed player can resume normal play. PLAYER ARMOR RULE Level 1 Armor- This is for players who do not have a replica helmet or plate carrier. These players can receive only one bandage before having to respawn. *Can be receive buddy aid once.* Level 2 Armor-This is for players who have both a plate carrier and helmet. These players can receive two ace bandages before having to respawn. *Can receive buddy aid twice.* Medic Treatment To receive medic treatment the designated medic must come up to player and remove bandages and give them back to player. Once done, downed player may resume normal play. Moving hit player to cover Players can move other hit players to better cover by touching their shoulder and maintaining contact while moving. While keeping contact with downed player both players may walk to better cover to administer buddy aid or medic treatment. 3
Infantry Roles Rifleman- standard infantry, mid magazine or lower magazines only. Any rifle or submachine gun under 18 inch barrel length. Armor Level 1 / Armor Level 2 Automatic Rifleman infantry with extended magazines to suppress enemy positions. Can use high capacity mags, drum mags, and/or box magazines. Class weapons consist of PKP, M249, RPK, MG36 platforms. Exceptions include the following models as, HKM27IAR, Krytac LMG. These models must have factor barrel and receiver configuration. Armor Level 1 / Armor Level 2 Combat Medic- infantry that can clear injuries downed players when they have reached their maximum allotted hits. Armor Level 1 /Armor Level 2 Sniper/DMR- Precision shooter class Any style rifle with a barrel length over 18 inches. (includes mock suppressors, barrel extensions.) Armor Level 1 / Armor Level 2 Green text-cleared for use. Red text-not cleared for use. 4
Velocity/Rage of Fire Limits Rate of Fire for all Automatic Weapons is 30 Rounds Per Second. All bbs will chrono with a.25 precision grade bb. AEG/GBB Velocity Limits Rifleman/Medic 400 fps full auto. Semi auto within 15 ft. AR Gunners 450 full auto. Semi auto within 50 ft. Tertiary/sidearm within 50 ft. Scout 550 fps with 100ft MED. Tertiary/sidearm within 100 ft. HPA Velocity Limits *TOURNAMENT LOCKS/REGULATORS ARE REQUIRED* Rifleman/Medic 1.85 Joule full auto. Semi auto within 15 ft. AR Gunners 2.34 Joule full auto. Semi auto within 50 ft. Tertiary/sidearm within 50 ft. Scout 2.89 Joule with 100 ft MED. Tertiary/sidearm within 100 ft. *Tertiary Weapons/Sidearm Limits* This class is for weapons shooting under 400 with.25 bbs Weapons are cleared for full auto/burst within 100 ft. NO 8MM markers are allowed at Combat Casual Events. Approved Grenades Thunder B (Hakkotsu, Airsoft Innovations, etc.) Enola Gaye Smoke Grenades TLSFX Grenades TAG Rounds. (Review Scenario Breakdown for ROE). Any grenade that explodes within 15 feet is a confirmed kill. (Except smoke grenades). 5
Communications Guard your frequency from the opposing team! Channel 1/FREQ 462.562 will always be reserved for admin communications. Approved Eye Protection. Full face cover is required for players under age 18. Full seal goggles or shooting glasses are required to participate. Mesh eye protection is only allowed with shooting glasses under them. We recommend products with eyewear rating Mil-PRF-32432 The Pyramex I-Force Sporty Dual Pane Anti-Fog Goggle is a great example. Emergencies We are all out to have fun, admin/staff will be on hand to ensure a fun and safe environment. In the event an emergency does arise reach us via radio on Channel 1 465.562 Be aware of your surroundings and go with a battle buddy! The following commands are for emergency start/stop of scenarios. CEASEFIRE - stop all participation in scenario and await admin instruction to resume play. BLINDMAN - a player s eye protection is not secured, halt gameplay and await admin all clear. ALL CLEAR resume normal gameplay.
