Senior Emily Kenul is the program s active career assist leader with 50 helpers, which ranks eighth in school history. Junior Miranda Ibello also ranks 11th in school history with 41 career hepers and she leads the Big Ten in assists (13) and assists per game (2.00). On the Tube Hopkins has three games scheduled for national television this season. Hopkins games at Penn State (March 22) will be shown on the Big Ten Network. In addition, Hopkins games versus Ohio State (April 20) and Towson (April 25) will be televised on ESPNU. In addition, Hopkins game at Penn was shown on ESPN3. For the Record This marks the 43rd season for Johns Hopkins, which sports an all-time record of 426-267-4 (.614) and a 208-130 (.615) record as a Division I program. The Blue Jays have posted 32 winning seasons, including 21 straight from 1987 to 2007. Hopkins has also made 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, including six in the Division I Tournament (2004, 2005, 2007, 2014, 2015, 2016). Home Sweet Home(wood) Under head coach Janine Tucker, the Blue Jays are 125-57 (.686) within the friendly confines of Homewood Field and the Jays are 32-10 (.762) at home since the start of the 2014 season. Hopkins will play 10 regular season games at home this season and is in the midst of a three-game homestand. Family Affair Athletics at Johns Hopkins is a family affair as a pair of Blue Jays have followed in their fathers footsteps at the Homewood campus while two more are following in their sisters footsteps. Senior Emily Verica is the daughter of Chris Verica 87, who played football for the Blue Jays. Junior Miranda Ibello is not only following in the cleats of her sister, Paige 10, but also of her brotherin-law, Max Venker 10, who was a four-year standout on the JHU men s soccer team. Sophomore Shannon Logan joined the Blue Jays and her older sister, Shannon, last season. The Logans are the 11th pair of sisters to don the Hopkins Blue & Black and the first to do so at the same time since Sam and Megan Schrum played together in 2009. One of Four Unlike her teammates Holly and Shannon Logan, sophomore attacker Maggie Schneidereith will not be playing along side her sister or sisters, for that matter. Schneidereith, who hails from nearby Towson, is a quadruplet and all four sisters are playing Division I lacrosse. Midfielders Jamie and Lucy are playing at Drexel while goalie Georgia is playing for Albany. On Tap Hopkins makes the short trip to Catonsville on Wednesday to take on UMBC. Opening draw at UMBC Stadium is slated for 5:00 pm.
