Defaults and Time Requests Before filling out your team form please check with your school regarding any dates your players may be unavailable for, including but not limited to, School Camps, concerts and trips. All default dates must be emailed to competitions@taurangacitybasketball.co.nz prior to the start of the season for term 2. Should your team have a one off event for which your players may need to play early or later please indicate this at the time of completing the team entry. Once the draw has been finalised it will not be amended. Whilst TCBA will endeavour to meet game time requests in advance, it must be noted that we may not be able to meet all such requests. a) To avoid un-notified defaults, the school/ team defaulting will be required to contact the opposition school as well as the Leagues Manager. Please give at least 24 hours notice. If both teams agree, games can be re-scheduled at an alternative date. However it is the defaulting team s responsibility to organize the game and appropriate referees ASAP and inform the Leagues Manager of the game and the result. b) Teams must be ready to take the court at the scheduled time of their respective games. Five registered players must be ready on the court by no later than 5 minutes after scheduled start of game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit game with the opposition receiving 3 points for a win and the offending team receiving 1 point.
