3 Calendar & Prices 2009 Major Car Events Price per 5m frontage Price per 5m frontage A1GP World Cup of Motorsport A1GP is the fastest four-wheeled event on s calendar and is renowned for producing exciting racing, spectacular entertainment and a party atmosphere. For the fourth consecutive season, is the only UK track that this prestigious international series will visit, and this event marks the UK debut of the new Powered by Ferrari car. 1-3 May 575 + VAT Gold Cup The Gold Cup is the jewel in the crown of historic racing at. After starting out as a 1960s non-championship Formula One race, it has developed into a hugely popular event for the finest historic saloon cars, sports cars and single seaters, attracting over 400 entrants in 2008. 29-31 August 175 + VAT DTM The flame-spitting DTM vehicles are the world s most powerful touring cars and produce some of the closest duels on the Indy circuit. With fierce rivalry between manufacturers Audi and Mercedes, DTM s annual visit to Kent is always a fantastic display of wheel-to-wheel action and super-fast pit stops. 5 & 6 September 500 + VAT Truck Superprix will host two truck racing events this year, and the spectacle of five-tonne powerhouses piling into Paddock Hill Bend attracts both petrolheads and motor racing novices. Topping the bill will be the British Truck Racing Championship, featuring eight-time champion Stuart Oliver. 28 & 29 March 31 & 1 November 165 + VAT FIA World Touring Car Championship 2009 marks the World Touring Car Championship s fourth visit to Brands Hatch. There will be plenty of British talent to support among the field of top international drivers, including triple champion Andy Priaulx. Alongside World Touring Cars, Formula Two is poised to return to the tarmac after a 25 year absence and will host the first UK round of the FIA-backed championship. 17-19 July 415 + VAT F3/GT With two major series for the price of one, the British F3 and GT Championships provide some of the most exciting and diverse racing on the 2009 MSV calendar. F3/GT will visit, Snetterton and this season with two races from each championship at every round. 11 & 13 April 4 & 5 July Snetterton 19 & 20 Sept 165 + VAT British Touring Car Championship The BTCC attracted record crowds at MSV circuits in 2008, and the series returns this season to, and Snetterton. There are changes throughout the grid for 2009 including Andrew Jordan s promotion to VX Racing alongside Matt Neal and reigning champion Fabrizio Giovanardi, and the return of Ford. 4 & 5 April 1 & 2 August Snetterton 30 & 31 May 3 & 4 October 415 + VAT 4
5 Calendar & Prices 2009 Bike Events British Superbike Championship Britain s premier domestic championship makes six stops at MSV circuits in 2008, including the four-day season opener at over Easter weekend. The BSB calendar also features rounds at Snetterton, Cadwell Park and two trips to, which hosts this year s season finale for the very first time. Car & Bike Club Meetings All other car and bike meetings As well as a host of promoted events, 2009 features over 80 bike and car club meetings for fans of two and four wheeled racing. Club meetings are known for their great atmosphere, grass roots racing and colourful mix of vehicles.
