At Sussex County Cricket Club, we are very proud of our history, success and family ethos. The Club was founded in 1839 and is the oldest county cricket club in the UK. Alongside this longevity, Sussex County Cricket Club has been a dominant force throughout England & Wales in all competitions over the past decade since winning their first County Championship in 2003. Off the field Sussex Cricket has undergone an extensive 8m refurbishment project in recent years, which has resulted in our on field success being backed up by first class facilities.

Sussex Cricket are the first of 18 first class counties to merge their professional club with the recreational cricket board. This merger took place in November 2015 and saw Sussex County Cricket Club and the Sussex Cricket Board become one organisation, Sussex Cricket Limited. This has resulted in Sussex Cricket being responsible for a range of programmes within the community, which aim to Increase Participation, Inspire Education & Improve Health, through the Sussex Cricket Foundation. There are many ways businesses can get involved with raising funds and awareness for the wonderful work the organisation do across the County.
