Organiser: Conditions of Competition: Hungarian Golf Federation/ Zala Springs Golf Resort The championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by The R & A Rules Ltd, the General Conditions of Competitions of the Hungarian Golf Federation and in accordance with the local rules of the Zala Springs Golf Resort as approved by the Championship Committee. Date: 10-12 August 2018 (3 days) Venue: Zala Springs Golf Resort, Zalacsány ( http://zalasprings.hu/en?lang=en ) Entry Deadline: Sunday, 5 August 2018, 23:59 Payment Deadline: Monday, 6 August 2018, 23:59 Withdrawal Deadline: Tuesday, 7 August 2018, 17:59 Entry Fee: Men, women: EUR 150 / person The entry fee includes: - entry fee; - green fees for the practice day (1) and for the competition days (3), 4 in total; - snack package and mineral water during the competition - participation in the gala dinner on the 10 th of August Entry: Registration: International players - please fill out the attached Entry form and email it to: office@hungolf.hu The competitor is considered registered when the entry fee has been received in full by the given deadline. Only one player is allowed to register with the same e-mail address and only one player can apply to the tournament through that e-mail address. Entries without paying the entry fee will be cancelled after the deadline. Entry withdrawal: Players may withdraw their entry until the deadline (August 7 th 18.00h) indicated above. In this case the full amount of entry fee will be refunded via bank transfer. Form of Play: Individual Stroke Play, 54 (3x18) holes Cut: There will be a cut after 36 holes in both categories. The best 57 male and 21 female players (and those who have equivalent scores) will be qualified for the third round. Eligibility: All Hungarian and foreign amateur male or female golfers who possess an official membership/federation card issued by their club/federation and whose club is an affiliated member of their respective national federation. The number of players is maximized in 114, including both categories. If the number of entries exceeds 114, the entries of players will be with the lowest 114 HCPs. The Championship Committee will consider the proportionate number of players entered each category. HCP Limit and Use: Members of Clubs affiliated to the HGF Men HCP limit: Exact HCP 14,0 Women HCP limit: Exact HCP 16,0 Men up to EHCP 18,0 and women up to EHC 20,0 can enter a reserve list. Should the number of players not reach 114, entrants with the lowest EHCPs will be eligible to play from the reserve list. Men up to EHCP 18,0 and women up to EHC 20,0 can enter a Waiting List. Should the number of players not reach 114, entrants with the lowest EHCPs will be eligible to play from the reserve list. Only those players are eligible to enter the competition whose HCP can be verified by the HGF. Members of foreign clubs are required to present a valid (not older than 30 days) confirmation of their HCP issued by their respective clubs/or federation. Order of Play: Starting on the 1 st competition day will be based on EHCPs in ascending order, on the 2 nd competition day based on the competitors score after 18 holes in ascending order and on the 3 rd day players with the highest aggregate scores (based on the results of the first two days) in descending order tee off first. Flights composition will be based on categories. 3
Pace of Play: Decision of Ties: Score Cards: According to the Point 15 of General Terms and Conditions of Competitions of HGF. In the event of a tie for the first place the winner will be decided by a hole by hole playoff ( sudden-death ) on holes defined by the Championship Committee. For any further ties, the scores of the last 18, 9, 6, 3, 1 holes shall be considered. After completion of the round, the competitor should check his score for each hole and settle any doubtful points with the Committee. He must ensure that the marker or markers have signed the score card, sign the score card himself and return it to the Committee as soon as possible, at the reception of the club house. No alteration may be made on a score card after the competitor has returned it to the Committee.
