INFORMATION BULLETIN (Version April 4, 2018) 21 st FINA DIVING WORLD CUP 2018 Natatorium of Wuhan Sports Center, Wuhan, China June 05-10, 2018 China Swimming Association has the honor and pleasure to invite you to the FINA Diving World Cup 2018, to be held in Wuhan, China. The following information has been designed to assist your National Federation in its attendance to this event. The team diving competition involves one female and one male diver from the same Federation. According to the FINA Rules D1.4, divers younger than 14 years old, on 31 December 2018, shall not be permitted to compete at this event. REGISTRATION PROCESS All registrations and entries shall be made electronically via the FINA General Management System (GMS) via the link https://data.fina.org. Access to the registration system should be via the logins previously supplied to your federation. If you require any assistance of support with the registration process, please contact aquaticsdb@fina.org. Please kindly note that participating federations shall enter the flight information in the GMS before 1 May, 2018. Please be reminded that the pick up at the airport will only be ensured if the flight information is entered correctly in the GMS. The hotel reservation will not go through GMS. Please send the accommodation form to email diving@aquatics.org.cn before the designated date. Seating Capacity: 3,500 2 1m Springboard 3 3m Springboard 1 5m, 7.5 and 10m Platform Dry-land training facilities with 3 boards, 2 trampoline and several mats. RULES The 21 st FINA Diving World Cup will be conducted under FINA Diving Rules 2017-2021. QUALIFYING EVENT The Mixed Synchro and the Team Event Finals (Top 12) will form the selection for the FINA World Championships 2019. The Individual Events (Top 8), Synchro Events and Mixed Synchro Events (Top 6) will be the qualifying events for the FINA/CNSG Diving World Series 2019. JUDGES Any FINA Member Federation may nominate, at its own cost, one or two judges, whether or not it is entering divers. The nominated judges have to be on the FINA Diving Officials List 2018: (http://www.fina.org/content/fina-officials-lists) The complete name of the selected judge/s must be sent to aquaticsdb@fina.org by 1 May 2018. Please make sure that all the information in the GMS profile is correct and up to date before sending the name/s. Federations entering four divers or more are obliged to enter one judge. No judge may work as a coach during the World Cup but can hold other positions within the team. MEDICAL SERVICES Medical service will be available during the stay of the teams in our city. This will be available in training and competition facilities. The designated hospital is The Wuhan Union Hospital West Campus. It takes about 10 minutes drive from the venue to the hospital. During training and competitions lifeguards will be constantly on duty. There will be an ambulance at the venue. VISA INFORMATION Visa assistance will be provided to those National Federations that have completed the final registration process in the FINA GMS by the specified registration deadline. This includes the submission of all mandatory data such as photo and an electronic scan of each person s passport. 3
TRANSPORTATION Transportation between Wuhan Tianhe International Airport and the official hotel will be provided for teams arrival and departure. Beside this, ground transportation from the hotel to the venue will be also provided. Note: The OC will arrange the airport transportation based on the travel information in the GMS. Please make sure all travel information entered in the GMS is correct! ACCREDITATION Accreditation Card will be issued upon team s arrival. Participating teams must update their participants profile in the FINA GMS. ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS For FINA Officials and Judges Liantou Peninsula Hotel&Resort No. 269 Checheng Avenue, Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China. This is a 5-star hotel. The hotel is about 50 minutes drive to the Wuhan Tianhe International Airport. It is about 5 minutes drive to the diving pool. For Teams Hilton Wuhan Riverside No 190 Binjiang Road, Hanyang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China This is a 5-star hotel. It is about 10 minutes drive to the pool and 30 minutes drive to the airport. Ground transportation form the hotel to the venue will be provided. The shuttle bus schedule will be available on the bulletin board in the venue and hotel lobby. Room Rate for Officials and Team Hotel (full board and lodging): Single:170 USD per person per day Double: 120 USD per person per day All necessary accommodation arrangements and provide Rooms (double occupancy) with full board (3 meals per day of adequate quantity and quality) for the delegation of each participating federation for 6 days and 5 nights as follows: For each delegation up to twelve (12) persons, the HF and/or OC shall bear fifty per cent (50%) of the accommodation expenses of ten (10) competitors and for up to two (2) team officials. The remaining fifty per cent (50%) of the accommodation expenses for the up to twelve (12) persons shall be paid by the participating federation, who shall also be solely responsible for the accommodation costs of any additional team members (competitors and team officials). Participating teams shall make the payment before May 25 th, 2018. 4
