PUTNEY RANGERS FOOTBALL CLUB MEMBER WELCOME KIT Season 2014 17 December 2013
OPENING WELCOME Dear Putney Ranger, Welcome to the 2014 season. This Member Welcome Kit will provide you with some basic information regarding season 2014 with key dates and registration details. Season 2013 was a successful season for the Club with our U21/1 and O45/2 teams claiming the major premierships while the U21/1 and AA3 teams reached their respective grand finals with the U21/1 team taking home the silverware. The U21/1 team also took out the Bill Plaskett Trophy which is awarded to the best division 1 team in the whole GHFA. We also had 4 players from our U9/1 team selected for SAP teams showing the development starts early at Putney Rangers. And season 2014 offers more for the players of Putney Rangers Football Club. The Club will once again offer Kickstart training to our minis (U6-U8) after receiving great feedback from parents last year. This is a program that not just makes football fun for the kids but assists parents & coaches understand how to structure training sessions so the kids get the most out of their football experience. The Club will also be fielding an All Ages 1 team with a view to being accepted into the Super League in season 2015 which provides a pathway for players who want to play the game at a more competitive level moving out of the junior ranks. You may have noticed that our womens teams were sporting fantastic new purple jerseys last year thanks to our sponsor Belle Property. We re looking to phase in new jerseys for the boys/mens teams over the next couple of seasons in our traditional colours but with a new design. Once again the Club can t operate without the valued support of our sponsors and volunteers, for which we thank them. We hope you enjoy season 2014 and wish you success on and off the field! Yours in football dy Lina Can Lina Candy President - Putney Rangers Football Club
