WETSUIT FEATURES: SEAM FREE PADDLE ZONES No rub, no rash. CRITICAL STRETCH AREAS In parts of the suit where stretch is critical, look for complete, single panels with no seam obstruction. These will offer the most stretch. COMFORTABLE NECK Obvious really, but crucial to your surfing comfort. A well made neck will be comfortable - tight but not restrictive, not rub and keep out water. INSULATED LUMBER REGION Crucial area for warmth - the best solution is an insulated lumbar panel. When trying on a suit, make sure it fits like a glove in this area. NEOPRENE THICKNESS Look for thicker core areas for warmth, and thinner arms/legs for flexibility. DURABLE KNEEPADS SECURE ANKLE AND WRIST SEALS You want them as tight as possible without being restrictive or painful. Neoprene will ease over time so dont be afraid to go a little tighter at first - it will loosen in the water. MINIMAL SEAMS VS MAXIMUM FIT The best fitting suit will have many panels to curve to your body shape. However, every panel needs a seam and seams encourage water penetration and reduce stretch. Our finely tuned patterns balances fit with seam reduction.

MATERIALS: ESPAN EXTEND NEOPRENE SUPERLITE NEOPRENE HOLLOW FIBRE LINED DURATECH KNEES We use a combination of Espan Extend and Superstretch neoprene, with 100% stretch for unrivalled performance. Superlite neoprene creates a lighter suit and ensures greater freedom of movement. Soft wool like linings wick away moisture and increase insulation. Kept to core panels so as not to restrict movement. Duratech is used in high wear areas, this is the most durable neoprene available, with excellent stretch qualities. CONSTRUCTION: SLICK SEALS GLUED AND FLATLOCKED BLINDSTITCHED SEAMS SEALED SEAMS ZIP BASE BADGE Blindstitching is a process whereby the needle does not pass all the way through the neoprene, reducing the chance of water penetration. Flatlocked stitching creates an extremely tough yet flexible seam. Slick seals keep cold water out and warm water in. Sealed seams prevent water penetration through seams, retaining interior warmth for longer. One of the major areas of wear and tear in a suit is the zip - it takes the brunt of the force when getting in and out. A base badge reinforces this area and reduces the chance of failure. WRC ensures that the neoprene in the top of the suit doesn t hold water. This makes it incredibly light to wear and significantly warmer. The Ultraseal back system stops the problem of cold water entering the warm interior of your wetsuit by creating a secondary barrier behind the zip. Our double overlocking collar is the surest way to prevent cold flushes. Fully adjustable for comfort. A glideskin collar creates a smooth, rub-free surface increasing comfort level and improving the seal. EXTRAS: PROTECTIVE EMERGENCY PRINTING WHISTLE KEY POCKET Protective Printing reinforces the exterior of the neoprene to create a highly durable surface. Temperature Inside Wetsuit HEATED WETSUITS AND ACCESSORIES HEATED WETSUIT The idea for a heated wetsuit has been around for some time but our solution is beautifully simple. We have integrated into a number of products, a system of removeable re-usable heat pads. These can be activated while in the water when the winter chill starts to set in. The extra warmth in the crucial kidney area gives up to an hour of added surfing time. By combining a heating system with our performance design and the highest grade materials, the concept of performance surfing in sub 10 degree water becomes a reality, and the idea of teeth chattering surfs a thing of the past. The best thing of all is that we have kept it within the realms of affordability our Heated 6/5/4 with Hood will RRP for under 350 and additional heat pad packs are available. RASH VESTS AND POLYPRO Our rashies are made from a medium heavy weight 7oz lycra to work both under a wetsuit and just with boardies. They are flatlocked to create the smoothest seam and reduce any risk of rashing. The cut, as with our wetsuits, has a seam free paddle zone in the underarm.
