The 16U State Titles is to provide an opportunity for the best players, coaches and umpires from across Qld to compete against each other in a high quality competition. It also provides players with a shared platform to compete for selection in the QLD 17U Squad for the following year as well as creating the transition point from Association based netball (State Age, QPL) into a broader regional representative netball to drive the competitiveness and depth of talent in the QSNL competitions. The City v Country 18U Series provides a similar opportunity for a smaller group of players and will be part of the selection process for the NQ 19U training squad for 2019. Players will also be viewed for 19U selection through the QSNL and QPL competitions as well as knowledge gained through their previous exposure through the 17U selection process in previous years. 18U CITY AND COUNTRY TEAMS The 18U City and Country Teams will be selected by the NQ Pathway Selection Panel by early August from the following teams and competitions and from knowledge gained over the past two years through the NQ 17U identification and selection programs. 18U CITY TEAM 1.
