Competition Levels Please note that each performer or group must register for the proper competition level according to each dancer s skill level. Although, any performer or group may opt to move up to a higher competition level if they so desire. If any routine competing with two or more performers has one dancer that competes in a higher competition level, that routine must be placed in the higher competition bracket. Directors and Coaches must use their own discretion when determining which level a routine should compete in. Routines that are noticeably placed within an incorrect competition level may be evaluated by the judges and deductions will be assessed accordingly. *Superior Level ~ (Advanced) Dancers who have mastered the beginner to intermediate level skills and are working to achieve a higher level of combinations and skills. The highest and most competitive level of dancers. Dancers who place in the top 10 at most competitions ~ stage and/or court competitions. *Prestige Level ~ (Intermediate) Dancers who have mastered the basic skills and are working to achieve a higher level of choreography and dance skill terminology. Dancers who compete on a regular basis that are between a beginners to advanced level. *Star Level ~ (Beginner) Dancers who are working to perfect the basic dance steps and skills. *Age divisions for each competition season will be based as of January 1 st. Names and birthdates of all contestants must be placed on each entry form at the time of registration. For any routine competing with two or more dancers, all ages will be averaged together, the decimal point will be dropped, and the routine will be placed within the proper age division. Duet/Trio and Group entries will not be able to compete in an age division more than one division younger than the oldest dancer s age as of the January 1 st date regardless of the average age. For example, if a 16-18 year old are dancing in a group routine with an average age of 10-11 years, the group routine would still have to compete in the 14-15 year age division. *Age division breakdown: 4 5 years 6 7 years 8 9 years 10 11 years 12 13 years 14 15 years 16 18 years Collegiate Adult Age Divisions Awards Star, Prestige, & Superior Levels There will be multiple Awards presented in each age division and competition level Page 4 of 12 Scores Diamond 294-300 Platinum 284-293 Gold 268-283 Silver 246-267

Dance Categories & Point Deductions *As stated on page one (1) of our rules and regulations guidelines, our company prides itself on providing a family friendly environment suitable for all ages.
