- ----------- -------- Draft 5 February 2013 Rodilon Pro Rodenticide Page 2 of 14 Ancillary label DIRECTIONS FOR USE RESTRAINTS DO NOT place bait in open. DO NOT apply bait in crops. DO NOT exceed 3 m between baits for mice, or 9 m for rats. DO NOT use this product to control native animals. SITUATION In and around agricultural, commercial, domestic, industrial and public services buildings and In sewers PESTS RATE 1to10soft baits per bait station at the first application. For further applications, refer to 'Critical Comments'. CRITICAL COMMENTS Inspection Signs of rodent activity in and around the building need to be looked for to determine the pest species and the size of the population. Their identification is essential to ensure control methods are placed in relevant places (see below 'Baiting strategy'). It is also important to know the history and geography of the building and its neighbourhood. A building with frequent rodent infestations will for instance be quite likely to be re-infested in the future. The structure of the building and its location can also give an indication of the potential for rodent problems (likely points of entry, proximity of waterways, vegetation, etc.). Baiting Strategy Eliminate as far as practicable all alternative food sources. It is essential to locate the baits close to where the rodents nest and feed, and also along their pathways. Generally mice will nest close to their feeding source, so place the baits in various locations near the nest. Rats are more likely to nest further away from their food source which means it is also important to bait on their pathways. Put measured quantity of bait in suitable containers, such as bait trays, or in secure bait stations in locations where non-target animals may otherwise access the baits. Protect baits from water where possible. The quantity of bait depends on the estimated pest population. For low activity, place 1 to 2 baits per bait station at regular intervals. For high activity, place more baits per bait station at more frequent intervals.

Draft 5 February 2013 Rodilon Pro Rodenticide Page 3 of 14 In sewers and storm-water drains, suspend baits from manholes by wire or place in such a manner so that baits will not be washed into water supplies. Check bait consumption after 3 days. Replace eaten baits. Where a high level of consumption is noticed, place more baits (up to double the quantity of the first application). Remove baits in new locations where there has been no take. Inspect again 3 days later and then once a week until feeding ceases. Normally treatment takes 2 to 3 weeks. NOT TO BE USED FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR IN ANY MANNER, CONTRARY TO THIS LABEL UNLESS AUTHORISED UNDER APPROPRIATE LEGISLATION. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS The soft-blocks within the paper sachets are ready to use- DO NOT attempt to open the sachets. "NOTE A single feed is enough to kill rats and mice however both rats and mice may continue to consume bait even after a lethal dose has been eaten. High-quality food grade ingredients and a unique texture makes Rodilon Pro Rodenticide an extremely palatable bait to rodents. Rodilon Pro Rodenticide contains difethialone, the latest anticoagulant developed for rodent control. It acts by reducing the clotting activity and causes internal bleeding. Usually rodents die within 3 to 5 days after eating the bait. Hence rodents do not associate the consumption of the bait with the symptoms- there is no bait shyness and that is why difethialone is so effective. Rodilon Pro Rodenticide contains a human taste deterrent which prevents accidental consumption by children. The use of clean gloves is recommended to avoid contamination of bait with human and other deterrent scents. Rodilon Pro Rodenticide is intended for use within an integrated rodent management program as the initial "clean ouf' bait treatment for rodent infestations within structures and nearby areas (within 2 metres). If reinfestation should occur, you can repeat treatment once. For further treatments, it is strongly advised to alternate with a product containing a different active constituent to avoid the development of genetic resistance. Extended use should not be necessary and is not recommended because of possible resistance development and secondary poisoning of rodent predators such as owls. Implement rodent proofing measures to limit or restrict rodent access to indoor areas or other areas where infestation is identified as a problem. Manage weeds and other vegetation around buildings to minimise the number of available or potential rodent harbourages. PRECAUTIONS DO NOT allow bait to contaminate foodstuffs or food intended for human or animal co.nsumption. DO NOT allow children to handle baits. DO NOT apply bait to crops. DO NOT place baits in the open. DO NOT remove bait from sachet. PROTECTION OF WILDLIFE, FISH, CRUSTACEANS AND ENVIRONMENT DO NOT contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. This product is hazardous to pigs, cats, dogs, native wildlife and poultry. Place baits in locations or bait stations which are inaccessible to pets, other animals and birds.

Draft 5 February 2013 Rodilon Pro Rodenticide Page 4 of 14 In locations where native mammals (e.g., possums in roof spaces) may be active, baits should be placed in secure bait stations that only allow the bait to be accessed by the target rodents. This product is restricted to use in and around buildings (within 2 metres) and within enclosed spaces (e.g., drains). Whilst baits are in use search for dead and moribund rodents and remove and dispose of them safely by burning or burying. STORAGE AND DISPOSAL Store in the closed, original container in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Break, crush, puncture, and bury empty containers and dispose of unused bait in a local authority landfill. If no landfill is available, bury the containers or unused bait below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set up for this purpose, clear of waterways, desirable vegetation and tree roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt. DO NOT use containers which have held bait for any other purpose. Dispose of carcasses safely by burning or burying. DO NOT place dead rats or mice in refuse bins or rubbish tips. Dispose of spoiled baits by placing in plastic bags and putting in garbage. Ensure baits are removed when rodent activity has ceased. SAFETY DIRECTIONS Poisonous if absorbed by skin contact or swallowed. Repeated minor exposure may have a cumulative poisoning effect. May irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. DO NOT touch bait. When using the product, wear rubber gloves. If on skin and after each baiting, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water. Wash hands after use. After each day's use, wash gloves. DO NOT handle exhausted or unused baits unless wearing rubber gloves. Re-handling: DO NOT handle exhausted or unused baits unless wearing rubber gloves. Warning: Should not be used in areas accessible to children. FIRST AID... If poisoning occurs get to a doctor or hospital quickly. Vitamin K1 (Phytomenad1one) IS antidotal. NOTE TO PHYSICIANS AND VETERINARIANS Difethialone, the active ingredient in Rodilon Pro Rodenticide, is a long lasting anticoagulant chemical, which if ingested by humans, domestic animals or pets, can reduce the clotting power of the blood and haemorrhage may result. Vitamin K1 (phytomenadione) should be administered urgently by medical, appropriate para-medical personnel or veterinarians. If administered intravenously, the injection must be given slowly.
