U.S. NATIONAL TEAM PROGRAM USA Football is committed to the growth and development of athletes across the nation. Through the U.S. National Team Program, athletes are given the ability to accelerate their skills, compete, and have the opportunity to play for their country. U.S. NATIONAL TEAM PATHWAY Regional Development Camps National Development Games (contact or non-contact) Two-day training and competition camps Athletes selected from Regional Development Camps compete in a contact or non-contact style of play. Athletes in 6th-11th grade develop and compete for spots within the National Team program Features current NCAA coaches who provide premier training and recruiting exposure Athletes train with current NCAA coaches and compete against top players from across the nation. CONTACT: Fully padded, five day program Full length games Jamboree competitions International Competitions World Championships Athletes selected from National Development Games represent the U.S. and compete against other countries national teams. Men s and U-19 Teams Currently, each U.S. age level competes annually against Canada and Japan in the International Bowl. NON-CONTACT: 3 day weekend event Equipment-free program Tournament-style 7-on-7 competitions and Big Man Academy COACHES & SCOUTS Current NCAA and high school coaches are permitted to coach the U.S. National Teams and instruct at all the training events. Former NFL coaches and players provide participating athletes with on-field instruction and off-the-field player and parent development sessions. Heads Up Football components are implemented in all U.S. National Team Programs. U.S. competes for gold medals in eight-team tournaments hosted by countries around the world
