Extra Event Charges There are some extra event charges as listed below COMPULSORY CHARGES Facility Fee per Horse this covers the cost of hiring the grounds $10.00 for entire show First Aid Levy per Rider this covers the cost of the first Aid Hire $10.00 for entire show Swabbing Fee per Horse this covers the cost of Swabbing for the State Championship $5.00 for the entire show OPTIONAL CHARGES NOTE: The old Wandin Park yards will not be usable at this event. Stabling (Southern Cross stables) per Horse $210 for the entire show Yards (Southern Cross yards) $50per Horse for entire show Build your own yards free of charge but must comply with EA regulations Camping Charge this covers the cost of the power provided $40 for entire show All camping must be in designated permanent camping area not in day parking area Online Entries We will be using our own online entry system run directly from our website. You will need to visit the entries page (green tab) and register a new account by clicking the [Register] button on the login screen and filling in your details. Your email address will serve as your login username and primary contact, so please ensure it is active. The system is designed to be as intuitive as possible and requires that each rider must be added to the system and then horses are entered for each rider. Blue information boxes will appear at each stage of the process and give information regarding what to do next. Event Conditions Rules and Regulations This event the Prydes Victorian State Showjumping Championships runs under Current Equestrian Australia rules for Jumping Hereon in EA stands for Equestrian Australia. 1. LIABILITY Neither the committee, nor any of the staff shall be in anyway liable for accident, injury, damage, loss or any matter that may happen for any causes or circumstances whatsoever to exhibitors, competitors, or members or their agent or to anyone on the grounds or to any animal or article exhibited or to any property brought onto the grounds or for another loss, claim, matter, circumstances or event whatsoever in connection with or arising out of or understood to be the Prydes Victorian State Showjumping Championships or any journey to or from the event. 2. ALL riders and owners of horses competing in Official Classes must be current financial members of the Equestrian Australia. Riders competing in Unofficial Classes must be members of either the EA, PCAV or ARC and ride at their own risk. 3. ALL horses nominated for official classes must hold current registration and grading papers from Equestrian Australia Points are in accordance with current EA Jumping Rules available at www.equestrianaustralia.org.au 4. Dress standard as per EA regulations in Ring 1 and Ring 2. Ring 3 Dress code will be informal but must be tidy. 5. The committee reserves the right at their absolute discretion to alter or amend any of the conditions, regulations, or any aspect of the event as they see fit. 6. DOGS. Dogs to be restrained at all times. 7. SCRATCHINGS - 75% of entry fee will be refunded if veterinary or medical certificate is produced. 8. OBJECTIONS: Objections addressed to the Ground Jury must be lodged in writing accompanied by a deposit of A$25.00 within the following time limit- (a) Objections against eligibility to a competitor or horse not later than one hour before the start of the competition. (b) Objections to an obstacle or to the course or the length or the plan of the course immediately after the inspection of the course and before the start of the competition. (c) Objections concerning irregularities or incidents during the competition as soon as possible after the end of the competition and not later than half an hour after the announcements of the results. (d) The period of jurisdiction of the Ground Duty extends from 1 hour before the start of competition until half and hour after the announcement of the final results for which the Ground Jury have been appointed. (e) The appeal committee shall deal with appeals against decisions of the Ground Jury with objections referred to it and with all cases of infringement to the FEI regulations and rules for which the Ground Jury are not responsible. All appeals must be in writing accompanied by A$25.00. 9. The committee reserves the right to accept or reject any entry or to vary conditions to any Class, to cancel any event or class without assigning any reason. Random Swabbing may also occur as per EA regulations 10. The committee reserves the right to change the article under which a class is run if time is limited on the day.
