It s my pleasure ad privilege as presidet of the Co Atrim FA, to welcome sposors, guests, players, team ad match officials ad ot least, spectators at toight s Toals Seior Shield fial featurig the coutry s leadig teams Crusaders ad Lifield. The associatio s thaks go to Ballymea Uited for allowig us to use their topclass Showgrouds facilities for the occasio - the secod time i three years that the coucil-owed groud has bee selected as the fial veue followig objectios by Lifield over a iitial decisio made by the Seior Shield Committee. But all s well that eds well, ad the Co. Atrim are delighted to be back i the Braid for the decisive game i the pricipal competitio withi their domai. Back i 2014, it was Lifield who got their hads o the trophy for the 43rd time - oe of those by the Swifts (1949) - whe beatig toight s oppoets 4-1 o pealties after a 0-0 draw. No doubt Blues fas ad officials would settle for a case of deja vu. The Shore Road me, chasig a hat-trick of league titles which has ot bee achieved sice Lifield s last success i 2012, are hopig to add the Toals Shield to their trophy cabiet for a sixth time. Career highlight was beig appoited to the Iteratioal Referees list ; I received 37 UEFA appoitmets, both i the Europa League ad at Iteratioal level, takig me to 22 coutries across Europe. Domestically, the otable achievemets have icluded Cup Fial appearaces at all levels of the local game Youth Cup Fial; Steel & Sos Cup Fial; Itermediate Cup Fial; Irish Cup Fial; Setata Cup Fial. Adrew Neeso (Assistat Referee) I qualified as a referee 15 years ago, the week of my 30th birthday ad my first game was o the 5th Jauary 2002 at Hydebak PF, Belfast i the B&B Old Boy s League. I have represeted the IFA for 9 years o the FIFA list ad have officiated i every Seior domestic cup fial, somethig we all aspire to do as referees. This is will be my 3rd Seior Shield fial. Kristia Haa (Assistat Referee) I started officiatig i the SAFL i 2012 ad fiished the seaso as a assistat i the Gordo Haa Trophy fial. I maaged to gai a place o the Football Associatios Developmet Squad to become a assistat referee for the 2013/2014 seaso. After passig the required tests I started i the champioship ad gaied a lot of experiece as the followig seaso I was promoted to the seior pael of referees. I have bee fortuate eough to get to travel ad go o exchage programmes which have bee a excellet experiece for me. I am lookig forward to toight s game ad thak the CAFA for appoitig me to the fial. Raymod Cragle (Fourth Official) Referee with 16 years experiece, durig which time I have bee fortuate eough to officiate at every cup competitio fial the local game has to offer. Seior referee from 2008 ad just this year retired from the iteratioal FIFA list after 7 years service. This will be my secod ivolvemet i the Seior Shield Fial havig refereed the showpiece i 2013 betwee Ballymea Uited ad Lifield.
