For Classics and Modern Yachts. Arrival of exhibitors by water and road. Commercial exhibitors set up stalls. 10.00am-onwards BBQ and sausage sizzle from servery at front of RGYC Club House. 12.00 3.00pm Swap Meet on thr RGYC Marina. $10.00 per stall. 1.00pm Start of the First Race for Couta Boats ( Race 1 Couta Boat Cup, Sponsored by Yanmar Marine ) 1.00pm onwards Boat Builders display on hardstand 1.00pm Start of the Norglass Heron Series Race 1. 2.00pm Start of race 2 in the Norglass Heron series. 2.00pm-5.00pm Music by The Jazz Connection Trio in front of RGYC Club House. 6.30pm-9.00pm (approx) Welcome BBQ for Wooden Boat Festival exhibitors, competitors, families and friends, on RGYC lawn. Boats taking part in the Ruth Plummer Grand Parade of Boats and Cavalcade of Sail leave the marina and make their way to the assembly point designated in the Sailing Instructions. (Entry only by pre-purchased ticket. $50 per head. Ph 5229 3705 to arrange). Guest speakers at Festival Dinner will be Lyn and Larry Pardey who will make a presentation on the restoration. Lyn and Larry need little introduction as they have an international reputation as Boat Builders and Cruisers.
