Sunday, Welcome Bernice & Joe to our Downtown Pleasant Hill community, here at the Carlton Senior Living/Memory Care unit, Bernice and Joe were both originally from Oahu, Hawaii. They both moved to California a couple years ago and are still getting acquainted with this area. Lets help them feel at home!
On behalf of Downtown Pleasant Hill, Carlton Senior Living, we would like to announce Earlene Hawley as our resident spotlight for this month. Earlene was born on August 18,1929, In a small town in Illinois. Earlene s husband Kent and herself raised four amazing children. In her early 40 s she wrote several plays, One Opera Libretto, and taught a creative writing class at the local college. Earlene traveled a lot and traveled to many places. On her free time she loves to garden, exercise,sing, cook and watch movies. Earlene participates in almost every activity. It is a pleasure to have someone so sweet and patient a part of our memory care family. Earlene Hawley Du praiseja Smith Carlton Senior Living, Memory care would like to announce Du praiseja Smith as this months Employee spotlight. Du praiseja was born on June 9 th, 1994 in Oakland, California and raised in Antioch. She is the eldest of two other siblings. What she loves most about her job is being able to help the residents and listening to their past stories. On my free time I enjoy reading books and watching movies. My plans for the future are to go onto Broadway to sing and act in Musicals. My friends like to call me Doops for short. We love having Du praiseja in our Memory care unit.
