If the figure is minus, the water is aggressive and tends to be corrosive. A figure between 0.0 and +0.5 is acceptable (slightly scale forming) NOTE: A high total alkalinity is no compensation for a low calcium hardness figure. Blue Horizons ph Plus Powder for increasing ph Part of the System Ideal ph range: 7.2 7.6 The ideal pool ph levels are between 7.2 7.6, promoting bather comfort, optimal chemical efficiency and protection of pool plant equipment. Test the ph of the pool water and if it is below 7.2, use Blue Horizons ph Plus to raise it. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned on, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution. 2. After a minimum of 8 hours, recheck the ph level and if necessary repeat the treatment until the ideal ph is established. It is advised you wear goggles, gloves and mask respirator. 1. This product should be carefully slug dosed into the deep end of the pool with the pump(s) running. It is recommended that the total treatment is split into three equal applications with a minimum of 8 hours between each. 2. After pre-dissolving add the resulting solution to the pool near the inlets with the filtration system in operation. 3. Harmful swimmer wastes such as perspiration, cosmetics and urine can accumulate in pool water resulting in dull and cloudy water. These swimmer wastes can also combine with free chlorine and produce chloramines (spent chlorine) which can produce strong chorinous odours and uncomfortable bathing conditions. Blue Horizons Pool Fusion Convenient 350g Sachet Oxidiser/Clarifier Minimal effect on ph Part of the System Recommended for use as a weekly preventative oxidiser, but may also be used to remove excess contamination after heavy pool use or prolonged good weather. WARNING: When dosing this product, wear eye and face protection checking wind direction first to ensure granules are not blown back towards you. Apply the product carefully near to the pool water surface, aiming for even distribution. Add whilst filter pump(s) are turned on to aid distribution, leaving the filter pump running for at least one hour after application. Dose Rate: One sachet of Blue Horizons Pool Fusion will treat up to 45,450 litres (10,000 gallons) of pool water. Shock or oxidising procedures are recommended either weekly or fortnightly with a maximum of 10mg/l (ppm) for a full shock treatment. 3. Pre-dissolve this product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallon (10 litres) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Blue Horizons Ultimate Boost Tablets Fast dissolving 100g stabilised chlorine tablets Measured dose Ideal for ionic purifiers Part of the System These fast dissolving 100g stabilised chlorine tablets are ideally suited for use with ionic purifiers or as a start-up/boost dose for Blue Horizons 200g Tablets or Multifunctional 200g Tablets. These tablets will rapidly boost chlorine levels and are excellent for routine oxidation. Prior to using this product, adjust the ph to the ideal range of 7.2 7.6. As these tablets release chlorine quickly, they should only be dosed via the skimmer basket with the filtration running. Every two weeks, place the required number of tablets in the skimmer basket with the filtration running. Blue Horizons Dry Algaecide Convenient 400g Sachet Copper based algaecide Use for prevention or cure Part of the System Concentrated dry algaecide for regular prevention and control of Algae. 1. If algae are visible, brush thoroughly with a pool brush. 2. Check the chlorine level and ensure it is established within the ideal range 1 3mg/l (ppm). If algae destruction dose is required, shock dose the pool to a minimum chlorine level of 5mg/l (ppm). 3. Maintain ph level within the ideal range of 7.2 7.6. If not in this range, adjust. Avoid high ph levels, particularly above 7.6. 4. Backwash filter for 30 seconds prior to application. 5. Gradually pour contents into a clean and empty skimmer, whilst the pump(s) are turned on to normal filtration. Circulate for at least two hours after application. 6. After the initial dose this product should be re-applied once every four to six weeks to prevent algae formation. Dose Rate: One full sachet of Blue Horizons Dry Algaecide will treat 50m 3 (11,000 gallons) of pool water. Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate Liquid Concentrate Copper based algaecide Use for prevention or cure Part of the System Concentrated algaecide for regular prevention and control of Algae. Used regularly Blue Horizons Ultimate Algicide Concentrate will prevent and control algae growth in your swimming pool. 1. Maintain ph level within the ideal range of 7.2 7.6. If not in this range, adjust. 2. If algae are visible, brush thoroughly with a pool brush. 3. Check the chlorine level and ensure it is established within the ideal range 1 3mg/l (ppm). If algae destruction dose is required, shock dose the pool to a minimum chlorine level of 5mg/l (ppm). 4. AquaSPArkle Pure Spa Salt contains no anti-caking agents that could otherwise affect the sanitising cell. 1. Balance the spa water in accordance with the guidelines in your spa owner s manual. 2. Whilst the circulation system and jets are running, slowly apply the required amount of AquaSPArkle Pure Spa Salt into the filter compartment, one scoop (approx. 75g) at a time, until the correct amount has been added. 3. Allow the jets to run for an additional 5 minutes to ensure the salt is fully dissolved. 4. Periodically a top-up dose may be required to ensure the salt level is maintained. AquaSPArkle Spa Bromo Boost Use with bromine electrolysis Granular AquaSPArkle Spa Bromo Boost is designed to boost bromine levels in hot tubs for ongoing activation through use of complimentary oxidisers, or via bromine generator electrolysis units (e.g. in.clear) that convert bromide into hydrobromite solutions. 1. Maintain ph levels within the ideal range of 7.2 7.6. If the level is not in this range, adjust. 2. This product may be applied directly to hot tubs, whilst the spa pump(s) are turned on to aid distribution. 3. Allow 30 minutes for general distribution prior to activating bromine with oxidisers or an electrolysis unit. 4. Before bathing commences, test the water and maintain bromine residuals within the recommended range of 3 5mg/l (ppm). When using bromine generator electrolysis units (e.g. in.clear), use the boost mode to raise bromine levels if necessary. On the other hand, if bromine levels exceed 10mg/l (ppm), then turn off the electrolysis unit until the bromine level falls to 5mg/l (ppm) or below. 5. It is recommended that hot tub water is periodically changed and replaced. If draining and re-filling is carried out within 60 days, there is no need to top-up with Spa Bromo Boost, in which case use the initial dose as below on re-fill. If draining and re-filling is delayed beyond 60 days, us the top-up dose below. Pour sachet into clean plastic bucket containing clean water and stir well. Place dirty cartridge into the solution after hosing off any loose materials and debris. Ensure the cartridge is completely immersed and soak overnight. Clean and rinse with fresh water. For best results allow cartridge to dry before re-installing. 2. One sachet treats up to 4 gallons (18 litres) of water which should be sufficient to immerse a filter cartridge. Carefully immerse the cartridge element in the solution and allow it to soak overnight or for at least 8 hours. 5. Remove cartridge element from the solution and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. 6. The pool should then be maintained at this level for a minimum of 48 hours. 1) Add 0.5ltr of Aquablanc Oxygen Liquid with Algaecide per 10m 3 (2,200 gallons) of pool water per week. If the swimming pool has a high bather load or the water temperature is above 28 o C the Aquablanc Oxygen Liquid dose will be automatically increased by the temperature compensator on the automatic controller. - 80 -

Initial Dose: Add two double sachets (2 x powder sachets & 2 liquid sachets) per 4,400 gallons (20m 3 ) of pool water. 2. Weekly Dose: Add one double sachet (1 x powder sachet & 1 liquid sachet) per 4,400 gallons (20m 3 ) of pool water. 3. Carefully apply the powder sachet first aiming for even distribution close to the pool water surface. Apply whilst the filter pump(s) are turned on to aid distribution. Warning: When dosing this sachet, check wind direction first to ensure granules are not blown back towards you. 4. Pour the liquid sachet into the pool, whilst the pump(s) are turned on preferably near the water inlets to aid distribution. 5. Test the oxygen level one hour after applying Aquablanc O2 Gentle. The oxygen level should be between 5 8mg/l. If the oxygen figure is below this level, the weekly dose rate of O2 Gentle may need to be increased. Alternatively it may be time to shock dose the swimming pool with Aquablanc Active Oxygen Liquid or a Blue Horizons chlorine shock product. - 81 -
