EXT. GARDEN - DAY is sitting on the floor with a cigarette in his mouth, leaning against the wall, the door beside him is open. He blankly stares down the garden. INT. KITCHEN - DAY, sits on the kitchen table. KITCHEN TABLE: There is a small weighing machine, surrounding it is a mountain of heroin. carefully weighs the heroin as he puts it into small plastic bags. EXT. GARDEN - DAY is still sitting there, hasn t moved an inch. He slowly takes a drag of the cigarette, savoring the flavor and slowly blows it out. There is a KNOCK on the door. INT. HALLWAY - DAY opens the door to reveal two teenage school girls, still wearing their uniform. holds the door as they walk in. Who s your friend? INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY Both girls enter the living room. One is more confident (SARAH). The other is nervous, reserved and cautious (). SARAH takes a seat on the sofa. walks into the room. He stops and observes who is standing cautiously. He chuckles. Don t be scared, have a seat.

2. EXT. GARDEN - DAY gets up, throws his cigarette across to the side and enters the house. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY walks into the living room, SARAH immediately gets up to embrace him and they hug. Whilst hugging looks in the eye who stares back. Who s your friend? SARAH That s, she hasn t done anything like this before. (To ) You can sit down if you want, you re going to be here for a while... I wouldn t want you to get tired. slowly sits down. strokes SARAH s leg. looks on scared. I m glad you came today. Seeing you has made my day. SARAH looks down and smiles. SARAH Erm, I was hoping if I could get a little extra today? Straight down to business... You don t just want to sit here and talk with me. SARAH Actually, I wish I could, but there s this party we wanna go to tonight... Party? huh... (looks towards ) (MORE) (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 3. (cont d) You gonna get drunk? You gonna get high? Maybe a little slutty? (creepy slow chuckle) (Scared) Sarah- SARAH (To Amanda) Sshh. OK!...ok. That means your friends got to pitch in aswell. SARAH Yeah sure, she ll do whatever. is on the verge of tears. gets up, walks over to. C mon, lets go. looks at him but doesn t move. SARAH Amanda! go. Sarah i m scared, I don t want to. SARAH Stop being a pussy, nothings going to happen. I thought you had some place to go. (Kneels down to Amanda s ear) The quicker you come with me, the quicker this will all be over. slowly gets up and follows out of the room whilst looking back at SARAH.

4. INT. BEDROOM - DAY and enter the room. stands frozen. notices this and walks over to her. He goes behind her, puts his hands on her hips and slowly up her jacket. In her ear he whispers. (slowly) Take your clothes off. shakes her head, trying to hold in her tears. switches ear, pulls her head back by her hair. is in pain. (Aggressively whispers) Take them off, before I pin you down and do it myself...understand? nods her head. slowly backs away and makes his was to the bed. He sits with his feet up and his arm resting on the headboard. begins to tear as she removes her jacket. She unbuttons her shirt. Stop! gets up walks back behind her. He takes her shirt off her shoulders, puts his hands on her hips. Slowly with one hand her slides it across her stomach and down towards the inside of the front of her trousers. INT. HALLWAY - DAY, and SARAH are at the front door. Their hair is messy, S mascara is running down her cheek. is leaning against the open door. walks in from behind and hands SARAH a couple bags of heroin. They hug. (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 5. SARAH then walks over and hugs. then puts his arms out for a hug from who just walks past him and out of the house. EXT. GARDEN - DAY walks out into the garden. He stretches his arms and then sits beside the door against the wall. He takes out a cigarette and lights it. He rests his head back and closes his eyes. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY, A WEEK LATER is sitting on the sofa playing video games. There is a knock on the door. gets up and goes and opens it to reveal on her own, in her casual clothes. smiles and chuckles whilst looking surprised. They always come back for more. He goes to hold her hand. She pulls away and shakes her head. She slowly reaches into her pocket and pulls out some money and holds it out to. smiles disappointingly, and nods. (softly, whilst nodding) Ok...ok. He is leaning his head on the door. He reaches out and takes the money from her hand and looks at it. Ok. (chuckles, softly) He puts the money in his pocket whilst maintaining eye contact with

6. INT. S HOUSE - TWO YEARS LATER HALLWAY makes her way inside her house, she is considerably paler than before, she is wearing a long sleeved shirt and is drenched in sweat. She drops her bag and makes her way for the KITCHEN. INT. KITCHEN - NIGHT/CONTINUOUS walks into the kitchen, she paces around. She is heavy and irritable and in pain. She fidgets with her shirt, she tugs on it and aggressively takes it off and throws it onto the floor as she continues to pace around. She has scabs and needle marks on her arm. She goes to the tap and washes her face. She then makes her way to her bedroom. INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT enters the room, before she can make it to the bed she falls to her knees and then flat on the floor. She kicks in pain and clenches her stomach. INT. BEDROOM - DAY The alarm is ringing. is still lying on the floor. Her eyes are open as she stares blankly while the alarm continues to ring. INT. KITCHEN - DAY makes her way into the kitchen. She is drenched in sweat. She is still very irritable and is scratching her arm. She looks around. She opens the fridge, it is empty. suddenly becomes enraged and repeatedly slams the door of the fridge shut. She walks over to the sink, gets a glass with water and drinks it. Half is spilling out of her mouth.

7. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY enters the room. She takes the phone and sits in the corner against the wall. She dials a number, picks up. She tries to speak but is too weak to say anything. knows its her from the caller i.d. He tells her he will be right over. EXT. DRIVE - DAY walks down the drive to the front door. The door is open, makes his way inside. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY makes his way into the living room. is curled up in the corner. slowly gets up and walks over to. Do you have it? (taking out a bag from his pocket) Yeah of course. Usual amount. I don t have it. Next time I promise. As soon as he hears this turns around, puts the bag back into his pocket and begins to walk out. stops. Please!...please. I don t have any money, just tell me what you want. You were always so insistent on paying cash-up front. (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 8. I ll do anything you want. Just tell me, i ll do anything. Aman- -please. walks towards her and stops in the middle of the room. Without saying anything he spreads his legs. Brief silence. walks over to him and goes down to her knees. She unzips his zipper, and proceeds to perform oral sex. After a short while, when they are finished spits on the floor as she coughs. kneels down and lifts her head up. S mouth is covers in spit and sperm. slowly takes out the bag of heroin from his pocket and puts it into S mouth. He gets up and leaves. INT. S BEDROOM - DAY/CONTINUOUS walks in, takes off his jacket and throws in on the bed. He goes and lies down. He is in deep though and feels guilty and upset about what just happened. He gets up and walks out the bedroom. INT. KITCHEN - DAY/CONTINUOUS walks straight into the kitchen. is sitting at the table, he was weighting the heroin which is in a huge pile on the table but is now texting on his phone. walks straight over and grabs a handful of heroin from the pile and walks straight out. looks at him but doesn t say anything.

9. INT. BEDROOM - DAY/CONTINUOUS walks into the room with the handful of heroin. He walks over to the bedside table and clears it with one sweep and put the heroin on it. He sits on the bed, takes out a credit card and makes a line. He stops thinks. MONTAGE looks at the heroin. is holding a spoon and a needle and is pulling in the cooked heroin. is rolling up a bank note. injects the heroin. snorts a line and then lies back on the bed. lies back on her living room floor. They BOTH are now high and stare blankly at the ceiling. FLASHBACK is in S bedroom with an unbuttoned shirt and is behind her holding her hips. PRESENT is unconsciously stroking the bedsheets. FLASHBACK is kissing S neck. PRESENT is staring at the ceiling. FLASHBACK spins her around and repeatedly kisses her on the lips. PRESENT is staring at the ceiling. FLASHBACK pushes off. (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 10. PRESENT is staring at the ceiling. FLASHBACK pushes her onto the floor. He takes his shirt off and climbs on top of her. PRESENT snort another line. FLASHBACK and have sex while she is crying and tears are rolling down her cheeks. PRESENT takes a huge breath a quickly sits up. gets furious, grabs and pillow and throws it to the ground as he gets up. He then repeatedly punches the wall. is sitting on her living room floor. She is dazed and is in a groggy state. She looks around. END MONTAGE INT. BEDROOM - DAY S phone is ringing. The caller i.d. reveals it to be. doesn t answer, he switches it off. BRIEF MOMENT The phone rings again. sits up and looks at the phone. He thinks for a second. He answers the phone. INT. S HALLWAY - DAY S shadow is visible through the door. He knocks on it.

11. INT. LIVING ROOM/HALLWAY - DAY/CONTINUOUS, trembling, goes and opens the door. She moves aside and makes his way inside. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY sits on the sofa. More conserved than usual. sits on the floor opposite him. SILENCE slowly crawls forward, she puts her hand on his leg, she tries to unbuckle his belt. in a state of shock pushes her off. She looks at him and does it again. He pushes her off a second time, this time more aggressively. She looks at him. takes out a small bag of heroin from his jacket pocket. He looks at it in his hand. He sees staring at it. He throws it onto the floor., almost like a dog crawls across the room and grabs the bag and begins to open it. MOMENTS LATER is passed out on the floor of the living room with a needle in her arm. INT. KITCHEN - DAY walks into S kitchen. He looks around in the cupboards and the fridge. He walks over to the sink, takes and glass and fills it with water. Just as he is about to drink he notices that it s dirty. He places the glass down. INT. BEDROOM - DAY walks into the bedroom, looks around. As he looks around he puts a cigarette in his mouth. Just as he is about to light it, he notices something on S dresser. He picks up a family photo from before became an addict.

12. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY sits on the sofa he still has the picture in his hand. He looks at passed out on the floor and then back at the picture. After a while, he gets up and walks over to. He takes some money out of his pocket, kneels down and puts it in her hand. He then gets up and walks out. INT. S LIVING ROOM - DAY and are sitting on the sofa playing video games. There is a knock on the door. gets up and goes to open the door. INT. HALLWAY - DAY/CONTINUOUS opens the door to reveal. He lets her in. Is he here? Yeah, come in. INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY/CONTINUOUS walks into the living room followed by. walks out. (To ) I ll be in the kitchen. walks closer to sterling. Thank you...for the money. I figur- (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 13. I need another shot. That takes by surprise. BRIEF MOMENT No. BRIEF MOMENT What do you mean no?! I have money now, i ll pay for it. It s not about the money. (upset) What happened to you? You used to be so beautiful. Your skin was so soft, your hair always smelled nice, but look at you now. I left you that money so you could have a decent meal, I left you that money in the hopes that maybe you ll use it to get better. There s nothing wrong with me. Get out. Get out and never come back. But- OUT! unwillingly leaves the room. INT. HALLWAY - DAY/CONTINUOUS is about to leave but stops. Instead, she makes her way into the kitchen.

14. INT. KITCHEN - DAY/CONTINUOUS walks into the kitchen. is at the table packing drugs. I need to buy something please. You can t be in here. But- Sterling deals with the sales, I just make it. Go ask him. She walk towards him. stands up. She starts to kiss him, they knock the table. pushes her away. What are - She kisses him again, she goes for the belt buckle. He pushes her off again, she falls to the floor. is more concerned about her knocking off the pile of heroin on the table. He checks the table. spots a knife on the counter. She picks it up and swings it towards. HEY! What the fuck are you doing!! Give it to me! Are you fucking crazy! rushes into the room. turns and points it towards him. He puts his hands up. I just want another shot. One more shot. (To ) Give her a shot, cook it up now. There see, your going to get one. Now, just put down the knife. (CONTINUED)

CONTINUED: 15. NO! You, fuck you! has the shot of heroin ready. He pulls out a chair. Here, sit down. sits. injects the needle into her arm. is now high, the knife drops to the floor. Her eyes roll back. She struggles to breath. She can barely move her arms and seems to be having a seizure, her skin has turned bluish, she is having an overdose. and are standing in shock. slowly walks behind her. He looks at and then looks up, he closes his eyes. (softly) God forgive me. puts his hand over S mouth and nose. She struggles. uses his other arm and wraps it around her. He begins to tear up. After a moment, goes quite, she stops moving. slowly lets go and she drops to the floor. looks down at her and then at, he gags. He runs out the room and into the garden. EXT. GARDEN - DAY runs out, he drops to one knee and pukes on the floor. He gets up, paces around for a second. He then sits against the wall, curls up begins to cry out loud. FADE OUT END.
