Skills clinics are taught by Guest Coaches outside the standard coaching staff at Power Play. The clinics are designed to focus on skating technique. Open to skaters who passed Basic 8 and above. Power Play Rinks makes your child the star of the rink with our ice ska ng party. All par es require a $75 non-refundable deposit before the date of the party is confirmed. A lesson can be added where a coach will teach a 20 minute group lesson for your party guests at an addi onal $25 fee. All par es are required to pay an addi onal 15% gratuity. Learn to Skate Cost: $139 for a 7-week Session Ages 4 to adult Have fun while learning the fundamentals of ice ska ng! No previous ska ng experience is required. Each class consists of a half-hour group lesson and a half-hour of a supervised prac ce session. Each student may bring one parent on the ice during the prac ce session for a small fee. No siblings/friends may be on the ice unless in the class. HELMET RULE: All children under 7 years old are REQUIRED to wear a bike or hockey helmet. We do not loan helmets. Learn to Play Ice Hockey Cost: $129 for a 7-week session - Ages 4-14 We offer a Learn to Play Hockey class that is devoted to enhancing the hockey skills needed to advance players into youth ice hockey. Our philosophy is to allow the players to develop their hockey skills while growing their love for the game. Every week the players will work on ska ng skills, puck skills, and partake in some type of game to keep them coming back for more. All par cipants should be able to skate around ice without falling, stop, and be able to move backwards. We recommend all players begin their journey in LTS. Required Equipment Hockey Helmet with cage or shield, elbow pads, gloves, cup/pelvic protector, hockey shin pads, ice hockey s ck, and hockey pants. Rental skates are provided free of charge for those who need them. U.S. Hockey Supply now offers a Beginner Hockey package that includes Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Hockey Pants, Shin Pads, Bag, and a s ck for $170. Bridge Program High Performance Academy Freestyle Synchronized Ska ng Spring Show Theatre on Ice Full Day Camp July 11-15, 2016 Bridge Program is for skaters interested in becoming figure skaters. The program allows beginners to advance their skills in a fun and challenging environment. Skaters may only par cipate in one session of Bridge program. Skaters train in small groups with skaters of similar abili es. The Academy will be coached by three high level coaches in a rota ng lessons. All Sessions are 12 weeks. Limited to 18 skaters. Teams of 8-16 skaters spend the season prac cing in a team environment and showcase their rou nes in various shows and compe ons. Tryouts are held annually in April. Spots remain available for graduates of Learn to Skate throughout the Fall/Winter months. Spring Session - 11 week program that focuses on group and individual skill development. Runs Saturdays - April 9 to June 18. 2:40pm or 4pm depending on level Program concludes with a performance on June 18 $225 (includes team shirt) The Spring Show is open to all registered USFSA members. Skaters may sign up in a solo or small group program. The Spring Show is not included in general club membership fee and is not mandatory. Please see website for more info. Show date: May 22nd at 2:30pm. Tickets are required for all spectators. Cost per skater: Solo $25 Group price per person $15 Theater on Ice Camp is open to figure skaters who passed Basic 4 and above. During this week long camp the skaters are trained to perform and on ice produc on that will take place 3:30pm on Friday July 15th. Lunch is included in the price. Bulls Selects - Spring/Summer Program 2016 The Bulls Selects is a Spring/Summer program for players who want to train & advance during the off season. This program is for serious players willing to put in the me and work to bring their game to the next level. We try to accept every player into the program however there are some instances where we need to cut players from the program (No cuts are made at the Mite level). Register online by March 10. Squirt to Midgets - $100 Deposit Required. Any player offered a spot will not receive a refund. Players not offered a spot in the program will receive an $85 refund. Kings Developmental Program The program is a perfect transi on for players coming out of Learn to Play or also playing Scholas c hockey. The program focuses on developing individual skills as well as teaching hockey concepts to create well rounded players. Players will par cipate in 20 prac ces on Saturdays and play games on Sundays. The program includes: 20 hours of prac ce, jersey, socks, coaching, games, and a year end party. Season Runs: Oct. 10th to Mar. 5th. Open to players born in 2006, 2005, 2004, 2003. Gray Beard Hockey Gray Beard Hockey is the ho est Adult program at Power Play. Gray Beard is designed for the older more seasoned hockey player. The goal is to allow older players an opportunity to enjoy hockey without the hassle of chasing the younger players. Gray Beard is a pick up style game open to players of most ability. Players are required to purchase a reversible jersey in the pro shop. Every week the teams are changed to keep the games compe ve. All games include one official and a score keeper. No stats are kept, just a night of good hockey. We offer three different sessions of Gray Beard. No walk-ons are permi ed. Players must be paid in full to hold their spot.
