INTRODUCTION We think that cycling is the best way to get around Glasgow. You get to places quicker by beating the traffic and it puts a smile on your face knowing that you ve done your body, and the city, some good. Our goal is to make Glasgow a cycling city. Cities where cycling levels are high are less congested, cleaner and nicer places to live and work. Your company can help by making cycling an easier option for everyone in the organisation, whether for commuting, local meetings, or just a lunch time ride to clear the head. Providing pool bikes is one way but managing storage, bookings and maintenance is a hassle for the company and people using the bikes, meaning they are often not well used. We think bike sharing is the future. This is where nextbike can help. 2

EASY AS RIDING A BIKE nextbikes are public rental bikes available 24/7 from any nextbike station. Our network of 27,000 bikes can be found on the streets of 85 cities worldwide. When someone becomes a member of nextbike, they are joining the global nextbike community and can rent bikes in any participating city worldwide. Business Bike by nextbike is designed to help your organisation make the most of your scheme in Glasgow and achieve the following three goals: 1 Get more people cycling in your organisation 2 Remove the hassle associated with managing internal pool bikes 3 Save your company money overall by reducing taxi bills and management 3

NEXTBIKE IN GLASGOW You can find nextbikes at 41 stations across Glasgow. Check out where your nearest station is using the map on the following page. Don t worry if there isn t a station near to you. Get in touch to ask about getting your very own station on your doorstep. Hiring a bike is a simple process: 1 Register to get your PIN code 2 Rent any bike by app, phone or on the bike computer 3 Enjoy the ride and return to any station when finished 4

ABOUT BUSINESS BIKE When your organisation becomes a Business Bike member, all staff within your company can claim a free Annual Subscription worth 60/year. Once registered, the first 30 minutes of every ride are free of charge. Our system automatically recognises the email address used and validates the registration using an activation link sent by email. This makes the sign-up process very straightforward. We can report back on the uptake from your organisation including number of registrations and rentals. All Business Bike members receive a promotion pack to help you spread the message internally about the offer. 7

WHO ELSE IS DOING THIS? We are working with lots of organisations already. Here s just a few: 8
