CLUB GUIDE TH The following information has been produced to ensure that all Members are assured of a comfortable and enjoyable experience on every visit to the Club. In order to enjoy your membership please familiarise yourself with the information contained in this Guide. INTRODUCTION This club guide provides you with key information about the club, opening times and facilities on offer in order to enhance your experience at the club. This guide should be read in conjunction with The Club Company Membership Terms and Conditions issued upon enrolment, which sets out the rules of your membership, together with updates issued from time to time and displayed on the club noticeboard. CLUB OPENING HOURS Please note that opening and closing times are subject to seasonal changes, special social events and Public Holidays. RECEPTION As well as providing information club reception staff deal with facility bookings. Entry to the club is strictly controlled, visitors and Guests should therefore be signed in at reception. Members must show or swipe their membership card on every visit to the club and quote their, or their child s name and membership number when making any booking. RESTRICTED ACCESS MEMBERSHIP Certain categories of membership, including age related and off-peak membership types, offer limited access to the club at certain times, please refer to the Membership Terms and Conditions for full details of access rights in each class of membership. FACILITY AND EVENT BOOKINGS Bookings may be made online, using your Member login at www.theclubatmeyrickpark. com. Alternatively bookings can be made by telephone or in person at reception during opening hours. Regular weekly group exercise classes may be booked 7 days in advance. Golf tee times may be booked up to 10 days in advance. All bookings, for which payment is due on the day, must be confirmed at Reception on arrival. Details for booking special classes and all social events are available from reception and will be displayed on the Club noticeboard. BOOKING CANCELLATION Should you need to cancel a booking, please give the club as much notice as possible. Failure to honour a booking causes disruption and inconvenience to other Members and whilst we accept there will be circumstances where a booking commitment cannot be kept the club reserves the right to impose penalties for failure to provide adequate notice. In the case of persistent offence, advance booking privileges will be suspended, for a defined period. This condition applies to both golf and health and fitness bookings. In the case of golf events and private hire bookings, separate conditions apply in accordance with the event booking form. USE OF FACILITIES HEALTH CHECKS New Members are required to undergo a health check, equipment induction and supervised instruction with one of our wellness advisors prior to using the Health and Fitness facilities for the first time. Guests are required to complete a medical declaration and check in with one of the Wellness Team prior to using the Gym. Members and their Guests are particularly advised not to undertake strenuous physical activities for which they might be medically unfit. Prior to commencing any group exercise Members must inform the instructor of any injury, illness or other health condition that may prevent them from completing some or all of the exercises planned. Before undertaking general unsupervised use of facilities including pool, spa, sauna and steam room, it is the Member s responsibility to ensure they are of suitable fitness and health condition to carry out the activity. 2

Members must ensure that their Guests sign the appropriate disclaimer form before using the facilities. USE OF FACILITIES GENERAL Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the gym or attend group exercise classes. Correct footwear and appropriate clothing must be worn at all times. Members and Guests using the gym must carry a suitable towel for the purpose of cleaning the equipment after use or to use the paper towel provided. Drinks may only be taken into the gym or group exercise class if they are in a sealable plastic container. In the event of classes or pre-organised sessions access to the gym may be limited. Attention is drawn to the Liability section of the Membership Terms and Conditions. classes 7 days in advance. Specialised classes or courses may incur an additional charge. Advance booking is not permitted for Members Guests who may only attend a class subject to payment of the appropriate Guest fee, provided that a space is available on the day. SWIMMING POOL Designated family times for children aged 0-15 years inclusive in the Pool are: Weekends 3.00pm - 6.00pm Children s swimming lessons from 12-6pm at weekends. The Pool is an adult only environment outside these times. GYM Last entry will be 30 minutes prior to the gym closing. Our qualified Wellness team is available to offer help and support where needed. Your assigned Wellness Advisor will remain on hand to monitor and update your training programme. GROUP EXERCISE Timetables for the range of group exercise classes available, are updated from time to time and may be obtained either on-line or from the club reception. A wide range of holistic and aerobic classes are available all classes are taken by experienced and qualified instructors, and are included within your membership. To ensure that all classes remain safe and enjoyable, numbers will be limited and advance booking is usually required. In order to avoid injury or disruption to the class it is essential that all class attendees arrive 5 minutes before the start time. Members may book for regular 3 A variety of classes are available in the pool including aquarobics, individual and group swimming lessons and children s tuition. Lane swimming is available for those who wish to have an uninterrupted swim and are for continuous lap swimming only. Children under 16 may use them only with prior permission. The pool may be restricted or reserved for organised classes or activities in which case prior notice will be displayed on the club noticeboard. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied at all times by an adult in the pool unless the child is attending a club organised swim school. Children aged 8-15 years old inclusive must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool area. Babies/children may not be left unattended at any time and this includes leaving them poolside in car seats/child seats while the parent/guardian uses the pool or wet facilities. All users including babies and children are required to wear conventional swimming costumes only. Infants aged 0-3 years inclusive are required to wear an aqua-nappy when using the pool.

For health, safety and hygiene reasons it is necessary to observe the following rules:- Please shower before entering the pool. No running, jumping and diving in the pool and surrounding area. No flippers, snorkels, inflatables or balls except as provided by the club during organised sessions. Crockery and glasses are not permitted on poolside. No food or drink is to be taken into or consumed in the pool area. Shoes, other than the plastic pool overshoes provided, prams or pushchairs are not permitted within the pool area. Members knowingly suffering from any medical condition that could cause infection or illness to other users should refrain from using the pool and associated wet facilities. Shaving is forbidden in all wet areas. STEAM ROOM, SAUNA AND SPA The Steam Room, Sauna and Spa are for the use of adult Members and Guests over the age of 16. Operating at approximately 45ºC with 100% humidity, the Steam Room cleanses the skin, aids circulation and relieves stress. The Sauna offers a dry heat, operating at approximately 85ºC with only 15% humidity, again cleansing the skin, aiding circulation and easing tired muscles. For maximum enjoyment, Members and Guests are requested to familiarise themselves with the advice notices displayed adjacent to each facility. For health, safety and hygiene reasons it is necessary to observe the following rules in these areas:- Please shower before and after using the facility Members and Guests with certain medical conditions (including but not limited to, low/high blood pressure, cardiac irregularities, asthma or pregnancy) should not use the sauna, steam room and spa without prior medical consultation and consent. If there is any doubt, please consult your doctor. The maximum permitted time that any person should spend in the sauna, steam room or spa is 10 minutes SUNBED The Sunbed is available for use by Members and Guests over the age of 18 years. Tokens are available to purchase from reception. Before using the facility for the first time, users must complete the health and safety questionnaire and familiarise themselves with the usage information notice. Eye protection is provided and must be worn at all times whilst the sun tower is in operation. Members and their Guests should also take notice of the Liability clause of the Membership Terms and Conditions. THE CLUB BAR & PULSE CAFÉ Weekends 7.30am - 9.00pm Please note: Opening and closing times are subject to seasonal changes and special social events. Kitchen opening times may vary from opening times. The Pulse Bar offers a range of food and drinks and provides a space to relax and meet other Members. Special family events may also organised to take place in this area from time to time. Due to licensing constraints and as a courtesy to other Members the following rules must be observed:- Children must be supervised at all times and must not run around in the Pulse Bar. No food or drink, may be brought into and consumed within the bar areas. Designated family times when children under the age of 16 may use the Pulse Bar are available at reception and are published on the club noticeboard. 4

THE CLUB SHOP The Club Shop offers a range of golf, workout, swimming and casual clothing and equipment. COACHING/PERSONAL TRAINING Coaching/personal training is undertaken by qualified instructors appointed by the club. No other coaching or personal training is permitted on club premises. Bookings for personal training and coaching should be made through reception. GOLFING FACILITIES Golf Bookings may be made up to 9 days in advance and may be made online through the club website or through the pro shop/ reception during opening hours. Use of the golf course is determined by your membership category. Golf Members and Guests should familiarise themselves with the rules and etiquette of the game before using the golf course. Members should also observe the applicable dress code. Local course rules are printed on the golf score card which is available at reception or golf shop. Staff are on hand to advise, should you require guidance with any golfing related matter. You should also refer to the Membership Terms and Conditions for full details of access times and playing rights, relating to your category of membership. Other points to note:- All players must check in at Reception prior to playing. The maximum number of players per group is 4 at any one time. Use of the course may be restricted during adverse weather conditions. Junior golf Members must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the golf course and practice areas until their 13th birthday. CHANGING ROOMS Lockers which operate on a coin return basis are provided for Members to store personal belongings and valuables, whilst they enjoy the facilities of the club. The lockers are provided on a daily use basis only. Items left overnight will be removed to lost property the following day. Members and Guests using the changing rooms should note:- Children of the opposite sex are not permitted in the changing room once they have reached their 8th birthday. Shaving and the use of razors is not permitted in the changing room area, including showers and washing areas. Liability for loss or damage to property of Members and their Guests, including property stored in lockers is strictly limited to any loss suffered as a result of negligence of The Club Company or its staff as laid down in The Club Company Membership Terms and Conditions. USING THE CLUB WITH CHILDREN To help provide parents a clear understanding of the facilities available to children and the supervision required when using the club we have summarised the main points below:- Parents are reminded that they are responsible for their child s behaviour when visiting the club. Children should be supervised at all times. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted to use the gym or group exercise class unless in a class specially arranged by the club. See Use of Facilities - General section above A Junior Health Questionnaire must be completed by the parent/guardian prior to your child participating in any organised activity including golf tuition and school holiday camps. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to notify the club ensure of any changes in medical history or emergency contact numbers. Parents are required to remain within the confines of the buildings (not out on the golf course) for the duration of any organised children s activity lasting 2 hours or less. For organised activities such as school holiday camps and other activities that last for more than 2 hours parents/guardians are permitted to leave site if prearranged 5

with the club in advance ensuring they are contactable at all times. Children under 8 years old must be accompanied at all times by an adult in the pool unless the child is attending a club organised swim school. Children aged 8-15 years old inclusive must be accompanied by an adult at all times in the pool area. The sauna, steam room and spa facilities are only available to Members aged 16 and over. The sunbed/suntower is available to Members aged 18 years and over. Children are not permitted in the changing room of the opposite sex after their 8th birthday. Junior golf Members must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the golf course/ driving range and practice areas until their 13th birthday. Children may not be left unsupervised in any area of the club whilst parents undertake an activity. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted to sit at the bar. MEMBERSHIP CARDS For ease of entry to the Club and to ensure that access is controlled, Members must carry their membership card with them at all times. Registered infants and children will be issued with membership cards and these must be used to confirm membership and to gain entry into the club. Rules governing the use of membership cards are contained within The Club Company Membership Terms and Conditions. LEVY CARD For the convenience of adult Members the club operates a levy system for the purchase of food and beverage items. Not only does this enable Members to make purchases without the need to carry cash, it also provides Members with a discount on purchases. To use this facility the Member must pay a minimum of 50 onto their levy card in a single transaction. The club will credit your levy account with an additional 10% for all money paid onto the levy fund. When using the system to make purchases the Member must hand over their membership card and sign a copy receipt provided at the time of transaction. Joint levy accounts are not allowed. GENERAL The club reserves the right to temporarily close facilities in order to carry out repairs or refurbishments without awarding financial compensation, except in cases of prolonged and total closure. Except for guide dogs, no pets are allowed within club buildings and grounds. No crockery or glass is allowed in the changing rooms, gym, studios and swimming pool area. Sealable plastic drinking bottles are permitted in any training area of the club. Entry to the club is permitted only from the main club entrance. Clearly marked fire exits, are provided in the interest of safety of our Members and Guests, who should make their way to the nearest available exit in an orderly fashion when requested to do so. SMOKING In accordance with the law, smoking of tobacco products is not permitted in any of the club buildings. To ensure we maintain an enjoyable environment for all, the club also prohibits the use of all electronic smoking devices within any building. Anyone wishing to smoke these items must do so in a designated smoking area. MOBILE PHONES As a courtesy to other Members, mobile phones are not permitted within the confines of the building other than the reception area. Members using mobile phones within any area of the club will be asked to terminate their call immediately. 6

DRESS CODE Members and Guests are asked to wear a form of dress appropriate to the time of day and place on all occasions. Please wear comfortable workout clothing when exercising and ensure you comply with the golf dress code when using the golf facilities. When using the social areas of the club appropriate smart casual wear should be worn. Members and Guests taking part in sporting activity should shower and change before using the Pulse Café and The Club Bar. and supplementary information referred to in these documents insofar as they affect their membership rights and conditions. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES Please note that from time to time these categories are subject to change. Please refer to the current Membership Category and Benefits form available from the Club. Membership of the Club comprises of the following categories: LOST PROPERTY Lost property found on the premises should be handed into the Club Reception. Items will be stored for two weeks and if not reclaimed within that time will then be donated to local charities, or disposed of. GUESTS Members over the age of 18 may introduce accompanied Guests at the discretion of the General Manager. All Guests must be signed in at reception. Upon payment of the appropriate fee the Guest will be permitted to use club facilities. There is no fee payable for Guests using the bar and catering facilities. The Member is responsible for their Guest and should ensure they abide by club rules. Any person whose Membership of the club has been declined or terminated shall be refused entry as a Guest. Should a social Guest be found using facilities, they are not entitled to use, the Member will be held responsible and may have their Membership withdrawn. APPLICABLE NOTICES, RULES & REGULATIONS In signing their Membership application including the Assumption of Liability Members are bound by the rules and regulations contained within The Club Company Membership Terms and Conditions document, together with conditions contained within this Club Guide. Sunday tee off before 12pm. PARTNER - This category entitles the Member to seven day access to the golf course and health & fitness facilities. Sunday tee off before 12pm. INTERMEDIATE (18-20 years inclusive) - This category entitles the Member to seven day access to the golf course and health & fitness facilities. Sunday tee off before 12pm. WEEKDAY GOLF (includes Off Peak Health & Fitness) INDIVIDUAL - This category entitles the Member to five day access to the golf course and off peak access to the health & fitness facilities. Monday - Friday 6.30am 5.00pm (Last entry to the Club at 4.15pm). PARTNER - This category entitles the Member to five day access to the golf course and off peak access to the health & fitness facilities. Monday - Friday 6.30am - 5.00pm (Last entry to the Club at 4.15pm). GOLF ONLY JUNIOR (5-17 years inclusive) - This category entitles the Member to seven day access to the golf course. No play before 11am at weekends.

HEALTH & FITNESS INDIVIDUAL HEALTH & FITNESS - This category entitles the Member to seven day access to the health & fitness facilities. PARTNER HEALTH & FITNESS - This category entitles the Member to seven day access to the health & fitness facilities.
