Salty Dawg Fall Rally to the Caribbean Hampton VA Agenda October 26 - November 3 A Week of Passage Preparation & Fun The Salty Dawg Sailing Association is hosting a week-long series of presentations, demonstrations, and roundtables --- all designed to help you prepare yourself and your vessel for the Fall Rally to the Caribbean and cruising life in the Tropics. And you will have fun meeting fellow cruisers, too. You can look forward to an agenda filled with: Noted experts Veteran blue water sailors An emphasis on safety & seamanship Time for one-on-one interaction with speakers and fellow cruisers --- social and serious! Afternoons unscheduled to allow time for boat projects and errands And... it's not all just about the boat! While the primary audience for the Passage Preparation Week in Hampton is the captain and crew of boats participating in the Salty Dawg Fall Rally to the Caribbean, the seminar sessions are open to all SDSA members. No fees --- no registration --- just a lot of knowledge and experience to be shared. All activities take place at the "Dawg House" --- a pavilion located behind the Surfrider Restaurant at Blue Water Yachting Center, Hampton VA. Contact Blue Water Yachting Center for dock reservations at (757) 723-6774 or www.bluewateryachtcenter.com. The Salty Dawg Sailing Association (SDSA) is a nonprofit educational and charitable organization that conducts seminars, rallies and rendezvous to help sailors realize their long distance cruising dreams safely.
