The finish line will be located just before the New Inn at Timothy s Corner where bottled water will be available. For spectators, the New Inn will be open for food and drink. Check In Procedure The triathlon s check in will begin 2 hours before the race starts at the Community Centre (transition area). All competitors must check in a minimum of 1 hour before the race starts. Here, all competitors will check their bikes and make any adjustments where needed; a short health & safety and general rules talk will be made, and all personal belongings including change of attire for bike/run stages can be left at the transition area.

Your race number must be clearly visible on you at all times. During the swim section your right arm must be marked with your race number. During the bike and run stages your race number must be clearly visible on your chest using the available sticker. You will also collect your official race T-shirt at the check in area. There is no requirement to wear this during the event. Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time. This will give you enough time to familiarize yourself with the bike, collect your race number, rack your bike, get used to the transition area, listen to the race announcements and deposit your personal belongings (such as change of clothes for the different stages). By their nature, triathlons are physically demanding. By participating in this race you are declaring yourself medically fit to complete the course. In the case of known medical conditions or allergies, please ensure that these are listed on the competitor application form or advise us to update your application. Race Information For any queries prior to the race day, please feel free to contact one of the triathlon team (contact details available on last page). Please don t hesitate to ask, especially if this is your first triathlon! Bike Check-in If you are unable to provide your own bike, we shall attempt to provide one for you. Please let us know in plenty of time should you require a bike. All competitors MUST wear a bicycle helmet during the bike stage of the triathlon. You must don and fasten your bicycle helmet BEFORE you touch your bicycle, and not take it off until you have completed the cycle section and re-racked your bicycle. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. It is highly recommended that your bike is serviced before the event. Please note: Fixed wheel bikes are not allowed. By ensuring that you are at the transition area in good time, this will give you enough time to familiarize yourself with the bike and bike racks (including personal belonging crates). The course will be sign-posted where possible, but it is strongly recommended you try and explore the course before the event. Should you wish to visit Tresco prior to the event, we will be happy to provide you with a bike for you to explore the course. Transition Area The Community Centre will be known as the transition area this area is near the school and on the cricket pitch. During the event, only competitors and marshals will be allowed in the transition area.
