2 the Amwaj Islander The Lanterns Gourmet Lounge now open in Amwaj Islands The newest outlet in Amwaj but not a new name in Bahrain, The Lanterns Gourmet Lounge is now open in Amwaj Islands, boasting a spacious dining area with both indoor and outdoor seating, for both Amwaj residents and visitors. Located at the entrance to Floating City, they are ideally situated with ample parking spaces. Lanterns open daily at 7.30 am for breakfast and offer traditional English omelettes, pancakes and much more; a great selection to start off your day. Lanterns is known for its fabulous Indian cuisine, but here in Amwaj, the a la carte menu consists of popular Indian dishes, as well as a good selection of Western dishes including options of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, grills, steaks, pastas and the already very popular homemade pizza. The Indian Tandoori BBQ grills are as popular as ever as are the famous curries and biryanis, not forgetting the different kinds of naans. The desserts are freshly made in- house and feature cheese cakes, macaroons and more. The newly opened restaurant already has a popular weekend buffet every Thursday and Friday dinner, and every Friday lunch for a huge spread including a stir-fry section, a live pasta station, pizzas, burgers, traditional Indian and western, salads, appetizers and more, all this for BD 9.900 + 10% tax only. Lanterns Gourmet Lounge is a licensed restaurant so you can enjoy cool beverages and select from a menu that offers many special cocktails with friends and family while enjoying select bar snacks.
