I have talked to water hunters across the country and everyone has told me that gold finds have been scarce this year. Some say that with the high price of gold people have sold their rings, others can not afford to buy gold, and there are more hunters in the water since the more affordable AT Pro has come out. The posted lakes sure hasn t helped the water hunting around here. Tiger Shark and Sand Sharks are back - Well kinda. Tesoro has started production of these two detectors again after years of parts trouble. They now come with a 10 or 8 hardwired coil but they are on back order at Tesoro and are only being made when a unit is ordered. Minelab Warranty Change - Minelab s three year warranties are now transferable for all detectors bought after July 1st. AT Pro Upgrades - Garrett is still working out all of the bugs with their new AT Pro model. They are now offering to upgrade peoples ATs with twist locks on each rod, an adjustable armcuff, detector check up, preventive maintenance work, and an extended warranty. It does cost $39.00 for the upgrade. Wayne Starr Laura Young Cathy Young Gary young Bob Dunn Bob Dunn Laura Young Larry Koch The 50/50 Pot was shared to. The Donation Drawing was shared to. It has a color search and pinpoint screen, wireless headphone capabilities, and an easier menu. It is $300.00 less than the V3i without the wireless headphones but it does not come with the rechargeable battery, charger, color analyzing screens, it does have less factory programs, and a 9.5 coil instead of the 10 D2 coil. It is still a pretty amazing detector! I found a premium toy ring the first time I took mine out! Four of our lakes in NE Oklahoma are still posted with these Blue Green Algae Advisory Signs. They posted this one while I was out in the water hunting!
