A very limited number of covered permanent stalls will be available for $75 per stall
(includes shavings) for the duration of each show (Saturday-Sunday). Please reserve your stalls as soon as possibly, as they usually go quickly. GENERAL INFORMATION PLEASE BE AWARE! Release forms dated 2018 must be presented for each rider and a negative Coggins report for each horse. A release form is a legal document, and MUST be signed by a parent or legal guardian for riders under age 18. Trainers cannot legally sign for a parent! Please go to our website, hiddenlakefarm.net and print the release form and make sure a parent signs for EACH minor child! Release forms are good for the entire year in which they are signed. 1. We offer an early entry fee of $20 per class if we receive your entries by 10pm Wednesday prior to each show, so that we can plan the show around you with the appropriate combination of rings, jumps, judges, equipment, and personnel. After 10pm every Wednesday prior to each show the late entry fee of $25 per class will apply to all e-mail entries and at the desk on show days. For the reduced fee, REGISTER EARLY! You will save money as well as help us create a better show for you. A $20 awards fee per show and $5 paramedic fee per show day will be required for each horse/rider combination participating at each of the four shows. There is no awards fee for just the warm-up class. 2. Warm-up classes will be kept open until the end of the appropriate division. 3. Half chaps and paddock boots are acceptable. Traditional show attire is encouraged, but colorful saddle pads, mane and tail decorations, and other festive holiday touches are welcome. Warm clothes are suggested on cold days. 4. Riders must wear protective hard hats at all times while mounted. 5. Riders may not cross-enter into divisions with more than a 6" height difference. This includes flat classes, but does not apply to Jumpers or 18" open division. There is no restriction regarding horses cross-entering into divisions with more than 6" height difference. 6. Dogs must be on a leash at all times 7. Children must be supervised by an adult. 8. Refreshments will be available on the show grounds. 9. Proof of a negative Coggins report within one year is required by the State of Texas. This must be shown before numbers can be issued. Absolutely no exceptions! 10. Management reserves the right to change, cancel, or combine classes, alter courses, and do all things necessary to compensate for excessive or inadequate entries. * Same schedule for all four shows *
HIDDEN LAKE FARM will be open to horse show participants for schooling the Saturday before each show from 4:00-5:00pm in the Woodlands arena, and in the Lakeside after the Jumpers are over and the Hunter course has been set. There will be a schooling fee of $35 for those not participating in the show. WARNING Under Texas law (Chapter 87, Civil Practice and Remedies Code), a livestock show sponsor is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in a livestock show resulting from the inherent risks of livestock show activities. END-OF-SERIES PRIZES END-OF-SERIES PRIZES ELIGIBILITY A division must be held with 3 or more entries in each class (warm-up classes do not count) in that division in at least 3 of the 4 shows for the end-of-series champion to be awarded for that division. This applies even if weather does not allow all 4 shows to be held. No horse/rider combinations are required, and points go to the horse in divisions IV to XIV, and to the rider in divisions I,II, and III. Each horse (or rider in Div. I to III) must participate in all 3 classes (warm-up classes do not count) in at least 3 shows in the same division to be eligible for the end-of-series prize. There will be a special prize awarded for the best costume in each age group. Note: Costumes do not have to be complicated. Sometimes simple things work best.
