Sheridan County 4-H Family January Notes Julianne Shoup 785-675-3268 618-203-3374 Achievement Ceremony and Christmas Party Rescheduled The Achievement Ceremony and Christmas Party have been rescheduled for Sunday, January 10th at 1pm at the 4-H Building. Please contact your buyers and special guests to let them know! Fair Book Change Requests All Fair Book Change Requests are due to the office by January 31st. In an effort to get the Fair Book out earlier and let our 4-H families know rule changes in a more timely manner we are asking for change requests earlier this year. Feeding Pigs at Fair Hangover Feeders will be required for pigs at the Fair this year. Last year some exceptions were made for other feeders and while we greatly improved, we still had some problems with overfeeding and feed clogging the drains in the pig barn and it is important that we keep the drain and barn as clean as possible. The sooner these are purchased the longer you will have for you pigs to get used to using them as a feeder, so don t wait until the week before Fair to purchase them! If assistance is needed for purchasing a hangover feeder, please don t hesitate to contact the Extension Office. 2016 4-H Ambassador Training What: The theme is "Rockin' and Rollin' with 4-H Ambassadors."
