As this is an AEF sanctioned trial, one randomly drawn (by AEF) contestant receives entry fee back! CONCESSION on site - Friday evening thru Sunday--- WINE & CHEESE social mixer 4pm *** The WILD ROSE COMPETITORS PARTY is planned for Saturday evening. A great meal is offered, and We will be having an auction after dinner so please bring an auction item, old or new. CAMPING: campsites are available, no hookups. Stabling at campsites only. Please remember this is a private residence, keep garbage in the provided containers. Motel accommodations at Spruce View 403-728-3381, Innisfail 403-227- 4405 or 403-227-5199 GENERAL INFORMATION This event each day consists of a dressage test, cones and a marathon course. 1. Entries close June 20, 2015. 2. Dogs must be confined to your camping area or on a leash at all times.. NOTE: Two Eagle Ridge friendly livestock guardian dogs are on the premises 3. The entry secretary will be available on site from 4 pm Friday evening. Time schedules, course maps and diagrams will be available at that time. 4. The cones course will be ready for inspection by competitors after 4 pm Friday. Drivers with disabilities please check with officials.. 5. The marathon and marathon obstacles will be open for inspection on Friday evening after 4pm. Official marathon course walk for Training to be held Friday after the COMPETITORS MEETING, at 5:30pm. Competitors are free to go through all sections on foot or via bike and motorized ATVs, but NO cars or trucks,. Obstacles may not have any vehicle beyond the Ins and Outs. Drivers with disabilities please check with officials. Check the officials board for any changes. NOTE: all drivers of motorized vehicles MUST hold valid drivers license. 6. The organizer reserves the right to refuse any entry or participation to any individual who has been expelled from, refused membership in, or is otherwise not in good standing with any local or provincial driving or equestrian organization. 7. The Ground Jury, Technical Delegate, and the Stone Bridge Carriage Driving club, reserve the right to alter times and/or courses due to any unforeseen circumstances. 8. Some competitors may have participated in the organizing and/or of the course construction. 9. Competitors and their grooms/navigators are required to be members of a Provincial Equestrian Sports Office or are required to pay $30.00 for an Alberta Equestrian Federation membership. Stone Bridge Driving Club, Eagle Ridge Ranch and its owners, the executive and volunteers, the Alberta Carriage Driving Association, and The Alberta Equestrian Federation, will not be responsible for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, drivers, grooms, ground spectators, or other persons or property whatsoever.. 2. **** Juniors under the age of 14 years must be accompanied by a knowledgeable adult horseman, capable of assistance in an emergency. Juniors must wear properly fastened, approved ASTM headgear AND a body protector. **** (some body protectors may be available). 3. Entry numbers must be carried and displayed at all times in the warm up areas as well as the
competition rings and course. 4. All equines must be at least 4 years of age to compete. Any equine may be measured for height if so deemed by any official. 5. HARNESS AND VEHICLE MUST BE IN GOOD CONDITION AND SAFE any style is accepted, vehicles may have iron or solid rubber tires. Pneumatic tires and/or motorcycle type wire wheels allowed in TRAINING only. The same vehicle can be used in all three phases. Entries will be inspected prior to the commencement of the competition for safety. 6. Bridles should be adjusted to fit snugly to prevent catching on a vehicle or other piece of harness. A bridle with reins attached and passed through the saddle terrets MUST be in place WHENEVER a horse is put to a vehicle. The horse must NEVER be left unattended while put to a vehicle. Failure to comply with any of the above will incur immediate DISQUALIFICATION for the rest of the event. 7. Proof of personal liability insurance is required for ALL drivers and grooms/navigators.
