Working at Height Safety and Health Awareness Day OMS, Dromintree Road, Bardon Hill, Coalville, Leicestershire LE67 1TX EVERY WEEK ONE OF US DIES Help for the industry - from the industry Wednesday 29th September 2010

Contruction Health and Safety Event Working at Height operations continue to be the single biggest cause of deaths and serious injury in the workplace. As part of our ongoing drive to improve standards and reduce the number of injuries to roof workers and the public, the Health and Safety Executive and Working Well Together are holding a free seminar for local roofing contractors in the Midlands. This half day event is supported by the industry and is designed to suit the needs of those who specialise in roof work. The aim is to raise awareness of the health and safety issues facing your trade, and give practical advice on how to control and avoid risks. We have tailored the program to minimise disruption to work schedules and have made our arrangements on the basis that two representatives from your company will attend. One of these should be a director or senior manager. It is anticipated that your company will attend. If you have a small building, construction or contracting company, or if you are self-employed and have involvement with RoofWorks, then this free event is a must. Come along to one of these events and play your part in making our industry safer. BOOK NOW! As places are limited
