2016 Changes Elimination of Sunday Prize Due to budget constraints Elimination of Challenge Cup Hadn t really caught on and allowed us to move the MMGA Championship toward the end of the season Changes to Player of the Year Based on individual play (Players Series) with the MMGA Championship as the grand finale Potential changes to GOLD tee box rules for 65+ However anyone playing from the GOLD tees will receive their WHITE tee handicap minus 2 strokes per USGA rule 6
Membership Vote Bo is handing out ballots and Lou will collect them when completed. Write your name on the ballot as only dues paying members are allowed to vote. A change to the by-laws requires a two thirds vote of the members present. We will apply the same rule in the resolution of the GOLD tee box issue. Why is there no vote for high handicappers playing from the GOLD? Because of low support for it in general, as well as low survey participation among high handicappers. 7
